At Wordit, I manage the overall book development process. My team consists of freelancers,
Editors, Proofreaders, Designers, and Printers who work on these books during the overall
development stage.
Project Management tasks include:
 Planning, strategizing and executing publishing projects.
 Assignment of tasks and coordination with editors, designers, printers, launch venues.
 Event planning and management (writing workshops, book launches etc.)
 Create and curate websites and social media content.
 Ensure that the team delivers expected results and contribute to achieving the set
business goals.
 Introduce new strategies and lean processes to solve problems and deliver better
results.
 Drive the team towards building long-lasting relationships with external stakeholders

As a Business Analyst, working in the Professional Services Group, the profile includes but is
not limited to executing presales activities like:
 Understanding and analyzing the requirements of the clients.
 Providing project cost estimations and Project completion schedules to the clients
 Drafting the solutions and writing detailed proposals which outline a detailed
workflow.
 Working with cross functional teams such as sales team and top management; within
the organization.
 Coordinating with the clients to ensure smooth and clear communication.

As an AE, I am directly responsible for the oversight and eventual commercial release of
multiple projects across a broad spectrum of product types, as well as the pro-active (and
collaborative) development of new and engaging content. It Involves understanding the
unique needs and requirements of specific target audiences and ensuring both technical and
commercial viability to help deliver products that genuinely help developers unlock their true
potential.
My role involved the following skills:
 Researching for new and engaging content
 Analyzing the market for opportunities
 Pitching proposals to the strategy team
 Proposing new ideas and strategies for effective product development
 Negotiating with external entities
 Initiating new processes and documents to assist the business in meeting its targets
and objectives.
 Releasing the developed product in the market
 Training and mentoring new Acquisition editors
Achievements:
 Promoted to senior level Acquisition Editor
 Awarded star of the team consecutively for two months.
 Awarded for best project management.
