Key Responsibility Areas:
❖ Lead planning and/or implementation of project operations and Quality plans.
❖ Participate in the design and/or testing phases. Facilitate the definition of project quality missions, goals, tasks, and
resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas;
develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
❖ Responsibility for assembling the project staff; for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or
termination during the project or projects. Manage project budget and resource allocation.
❖ Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential
clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving quality.
❖ Managing and supervision of Paint Coatings, Galvanising, Welding and assembly areas and perform sub-contractor
inspections and approvals at site.
❖ Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management. Work cross-
functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
❖ Follow a defined, agreed upon project management planning and organising production schedules
❖ Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
❖ Ensuring that quality control standards, health and safety regulations are met.
❖ Overseeing production incoming material inspection processes, inventory, raw materials, tools, equipment etc.
❖ Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment,
❖ Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff.
❖ Supervising and evaluating multi-disciplinary teams of staff including production, maintenance, quality, safety etc.
❖ Organising relevant training sessions for subordinates.
❖ Conducts inspection activities with the consultant / client as per QAP & ITP requirements
❖ Confirmed the material against the material test certificates (MTC’s)
❖ Performed welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant
engineering drawing, international standard and project specification
Key Responsibility Areas:
❖ Responsible for stage wise and finish painting / coating inspection.
❖ Undertake QC painting / coating activities in the work place for daily basis.
❖ Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and painting / coating application.
❖ Prepare “inspection & test plan” (ITP) for specific requirements.
❖ Hot dip galvanizing coating inspection in galvanizing plant.
❖ To check and monitor all painting / coating related works and ensure all final products meet in accordance with company
procedure, client requirement and international codes.
❖ Responsible for incoming coating / painting material inspection and has to ensure whether these materials suits to meets the
requirements of project specifications.
❖ Conducts inspection activities with the consultant / client as per QAP & ITP requirements
❖ Confirmed the material against the material test certificates (MTC’s)
❖ Performed welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering
drawing, international standard and project specification
❖ Carried out inspection of finished work items including with joint fit-up different fittings and welding.
❖ Developed day-today activities, progress monitoring and reporting.
❖ Supervising the welder’s performance through repairs and controlling.
❖ Performed visual inspection as per codes and standards.
❖ Managed witness, evaluation and interpretation of NDT techniques like RT, UT, MT, & PT; coordinated with NDT personal
and made arrangement to complete the job in time inspection of raw materials
❖ Monitored the implementation of quality control procedures at shop & field activities conform to project specifications
❖ Rendered the technical assistance to sub-contractor, supervision and keep them informed on matters related to quality control
❖ Witnessed welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testing, any remedial repair welding.
❖ Examined the welding summary reports.
❖ Advised subcontractors with regards to welding, painting & testing.
❖ Ensured timely follow-up the issue of non-conformance reports through the QC Manager
Key Responsibility Areas:
❖ Review of contractors ITP, comment on Hold points, Witness point, review points, monitor points etc, and NDT Plan.
❖ Review of contractors WPS’s for structural, Equipment & piping and also evaluation of relevant PQR’s as per ASME Sec-IX.
❖ Perform welding operator performance Qualification testing (WPQT) and issuing of welder card as per ASME Sec-IX.
❖ Witnessing destructive tests such as tension test, guide bend test, impact test and hardness test as per ASME sec-IX and
construction code.
❖ Preparation of repair procedure with recommendation and witness of NDT includes UT, RT, DPT, MPT etc.
❖ Witness of hydro test and Pneumatic Test.
❖ Inspection of surface preparation as per codes and company standards.
❖ Monitoring of weather conditions- WBT, DBT, DEWPOINT, Relative Humidity (RH %) & Metal temperature.
❖ Measuring WFT, DFT of each coat. Final DFT, Visual inspection, Pinhole detection & Holiday detection
❖ Preparation of daily painting inspection reports and Final inspection report
