Develop costing analysis for both the individual and multi asset usage, including all direct and indirect costs borne by the operation. Initiated fuel authorisation form; using monitoring and analysis this regulated the use of fuel, resulting in a 30% reduction in spending. Identified and advised on usage of idle company land as key way to produce profit with minimal initial investment. Organised routine visits to existing clients on a more structured basis, followed by a formal reporting system, resulting in 10% increase in profitability. Produced standard format of all operational reporting systems; improving overall use of assets and speed of invoice generation. Implemented and monitored performance of a preventative maintenance programme using previous aviation experience; recording maintenance faults and corrective actions, resulting in 15% reduction of unscheduled downtime.

Managed 27 permanent inspectors and 5 permanent multi-national office-based staff members, ensuring they follow safe operational practices. Managed Saudi Arabian office operational budget; cost comparison to reduce operational expenditure. Managed technical, reporting, HR, and QA/QC departments of the company in various locations around the world to complete projects in given time frame. Communicated with new and existing OES customers to discuss potential issues related to planned inspections. Investigated and recorded incidents/accidents. Promoted and upsold OES services during pre-mobilisation meetings. Produced quotations for sale of technical services supplied by OES as required by clients.

Supported the Chief Mechanic in identifying faults, rectification and the servicing of EMD 645 marine engines to streamline rig operations. Performed servicing, maintenance, and husbandry on various pieces of rig equipment as per the schedule. Managed planned maintenance and rectification on TEMPSC (survival craft), and fast rescue craft. Maintained essential systems; including reverse osmosis water makers, fuel purifiers, sewage treatment plant and oily water separators to ensure operational efficiency. Prepared well written work reports and identified areas for improving the efficiency of processes. Showed continued commitment to Ensco’s high standard of health and safety.

Gas Turbine Technician/Technical Trainer, 2005 to 2014
Performed scheduled servicing and maintenance of Rolls Royce RB199 ECU and KHD SPS system. Inspected the compressors; turbines, guide vanes, and combustion chambers using boroscopic equipment. Identified faults of the RB199 and KHD SPS system and rectified in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency. Provided removal, installation, and testing services of whole installed ECU components, such as fuel control units, nozzle control units, and fuel cooled oil coolers. Authorised to perform diagnostic ECU runs in a supervisory capacity; including full afterburner operation. Prepared maintenance schedules to ensure correct and preventative maintenance procedures were strictly adhered to. Conducted risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
