• Manage a team of Oil & Gas technical professional to ensure the functional excellence of all production facilities.
• Supervises and participates in the operational support services, technical feasibility studies, project design, assessment, execution and management.
• Plans and supervises the activities of assigned employees in the Section.
• Receives work requests, allocates to appropriate engineer and participates in the assessment of ongoing problems, providing technical reports to management on the resolution of recurring and serious problems.
• Directs the development of annual and 5 years work plans and programs together with associated operating and capital budget submissions, to ensure that all future activities are effectively covered from all resource perspective.
• Ensures that the HSE policy is effectively incorporated in all technical recommendations and are implemented in all areas of work under control.
• Coordinates within Technical Services on all corrosion monitoring technical issues, assessments, projects and operational problems.
• Monitors data from the corrosion monitoring systems including Cathodic Protection (CP), Inspection, ultrasonic surveys, etc. for Production facilities.
• Manages the intelligent pigging program for the pipelines and maintains base line and historic data. Analyses data and recommends additional NDT and logging requirements and any repairs if required.
• Supervises, where required, consulting engineering services related to corrosion monitoring programs and up-front engineering assessments.
• Assists SH in annual WP&B preparation and performance tracking.
• Assists in the implementation of development programs for junior engineers.
1.(1/2/2007 to 1/8/2008) Senior E&I Technician:
- Assisting E&I Maintenance Supervisor in supervising all activities at Pumping Stations and Marine Terminal.
- Following and supervising the commissioning of the UPS Systems at Stations.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of all Station Facilities.
- Arranging and scheduling contractors activities as well as following up their work
- Following and reviewing Cathodic Protection Report submitted by contractors.
2. Acting E&I Maintenance Supervisor: carrying out all the supervisor activities during the periods from 25/6/2007 to 16/7/2007, and from 9/12/2007 to 16/12/2007
3.(1/8/2008 to date) CP Engineer:
- Conducts corrosion studies, tests and investigations to determine the cause, type, extent and rate of corrosion of various types of plant and equipment.
- Recommends methods of combating corrosion.
- Prepare maintenance work plane for all CP Equipment at the pipeline and stations.
- Supervise all the planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Study the output results of all the surveys and analyze the data and hence plane the next step according to the data collected.
- Provide all the required technical support and advises upon the situation report form maintenance team at site.
- Plan all the surveys over the pipeline and stations according to International Standers and supervise the actual work.
- Prepares a variety of reports covering all the surveys, preventive and corrective maintenance activities carried out as well as the future plan of activities relating to the status, performance and requirements of the cathodic protection system.
4.Acting CP Supervisor: carrying out all the supervisor activities during the period form1/8/2008 to 1/2/2009 which includes tasks such as all other department interrelation issues, annual report, planning of any modifications if required, new project implementation, follow up … etc.
Working as an Electrical Engineer in the Pumping Facilities for Melut Basin Oil Development Project (Downstream), My main Responsibilities were:
- Calibration of instrument, and equipments received from the supplier.
- Preparation of ISO documents
- Collaborate with the agencies that are carrying out the installation.
- Daily Job schedule.
- Guiding and supervising the technicians working under me.
- Reporting the daily activities to the management.
- Carrying out the duties assigned by the management.
- Installation, testing and commissioning of the instruments and equipments.
- Collaborate with client.
- Technically assist contractors.
- As well as installing the following Cathodic Protection System:
1. SSS Undertank System for 18 Tanks.
2. SSS Sacrificial System for 22 Tanks.
3. Hockway Undertank System for 18 Tanks.
