One of the main responsibilities is issuing and presenting monthly and annual reports for management and department to monitor and overview the performance of departments’ KPI and rectify all the obstacles in:
o Purchase requisitions & orders conversion efficiency
o Negotiation targets
o Project timelines
o Vendor management & engagement
o Payment cycle improvements

• Implement critical procurement practices across the plants
• Review the MRP, ISP, and PO’s to prepare the procurement engagement plan
• Fulfill the purchase requests, RR, and limit backlog orders
• Assess and secure new vendors to add to the vendor’s list
• Analyze the planned and seasonal shutdowns to plan for projects months ahead of time
• Provide the Associate Manager of Procurement feedback on the procurement suppliers, products, pricing, and KPIs for:
o Closed Purchase Orders and Purchase Requests
o Emergency requirements
o Purchase Orders
o MRP
o Lead times
o Shutdowns
o Backlog Purchase Requisitions

• Provided support to a major client such as SABIC on their delivery and imported items

• Engaged with carriers and suppliers on claims and damage reports

• Monitored the imported items to ensure they did not face any challenges
• Coordinated general and dangerous goods cargo’s to ensure delivery to customers
• Analyzed the documentation for dangerous goods for the DG permits and ministries
• Received shipments on different types of INCOTERMS and provided the guidance and support for clearances, delivery, or import requirements such as SFDA authorization, or ministry approvals
