I joined Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) on 27th May 1995. Having more than 27 years’ experience working in KOC. I have worked in Engineering Group for approx. 10 years as a design process engineer and I have worked as a project manager / leader/ Researcher for various projects, studies and research at R&T / R&D for last 17 years and, wherein I had followed all the sub competencies of Project Management to carry out the project, pilot project / studies and research, used most of the sub competencies of Project Management and familiar with end-to-end life cycle of project management. Also, I was work and contribute in one of the most challenging and strategic projects for KPC, "Kuwait International petroleum Research Centre (KIPRC)”.

I was trained for on Job Training Program for six months at Parsons Offices in Pasadena, USA. I received my B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University, 1994. In year 2002 I obtained my Master (M.S) degree in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University. My Master thesis title was “Bed Expansion Characteristics and Wall Effects on Fixed and Fluidized Beds”. On year 2009 I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering (Environmental) from UK, Loughborough University. My PhD thesis research entitled “Total Flare Emission Inventories of Crude Oil Production Operations from Kuwait Oilfields”.

For more than 8 years, I was supervising KOC staff with University of Southern California to get Master and PhD degree in the Petroleum and chemical Engineering & Geo Sciences programs.

Also, I was member in the KOC Technical Review Committee (TRC) to evaluate, approved technical and publish papers and I was a member in Middle East Journal of Petroleum Technology (MEJPT).

I published and presented many technical papers in international conferences and Journal. The applications are focused on HSE and water management. I was attended more than 60 In-house and external technical training courses in oil industry, Human resource, Project Management, planning, Contract Management and Leadership Skills and Management

I was Faculty Member in the School of Engineering at the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK). Teaching graduate students for two subjects related to Petroleum and Chemical Engineering (Advanced Process Simulation and Fluid Mechanics). Also, I’m Faculty Member of Chemical Engineering in American International University (AIU) in Kuwait.


Based on my experience, I’m qualified to be one of the faculty members in IUK University for both graduate and undergraduate levels for the below Fields of Research and Topics.

In view of the above, I have all the necessary experience and expertise to be Associate Professor in IUK University for both graduate and undergraduate levels. Also, to be able to manage several projects, studies and research and I able to provide guidance for all new & ongoing projects and research projects as well as developing other staff in conducting the Research Project utilizing for the above skills / sub competencies of Project Engineering.
