Air Conditioning Project Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
•Installation & Execution of Mechanical works (HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage Sanitary ware & Fire Fighting Services ) distribution for various commercial, residential and industrial projects and General Contract and Subcontract documents.
•Supervision of duct fabrication & execution of Duct.
•Capable of handling HVAC System Installation in various high quality buildings to international ( ASHRAF, SMACNA, NFPA etc) and standard including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Packaged units, Split units, chilled water piping, ducting, air distribution, various piping system, booster pumps, hot water circulation pumps sanitary ware, heaters, fire sprinklers and BMS etc with all other accessories.
•Insulation etc with standard connection of chillers, pumps, AHUs and FCUs.
•Selection of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, chilled water pumps, chilled water pipes and fitting pipes, Booster Pumps, Sewages pumps, Water Heaters.
•Selection of GI Sheet, supports, hangers, insulation for ducts, grills, diffusers and dampers with estimation of GI sheet and all other accessories.
•Building survey.
•Having the experience in cold and hot water system, sanitary, drainage and fire fighting services.
•Installation & execution of booster pumps, sewage pumps water heaters.
•Plan and work efficiently organize site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
•Sending the enquires to the approved manufactures and receiving quotations.
•Self motivated, disciplined, honest, team player with good management capabilities to lead a team of engineers, supervisors and technicians.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Familiar with all the inspection procedures related to projects.
•Experienced in engineering design check, shop drawings and estimation planning contractual ties.
•Preparing material purchase request with proper & clear specification.
•Attending site meetings, discussing technical matters with consultants.
• Coordinating with statutory departments for necessary approval.
•Providing necessary technical clarification details if any to drawing office to enable them to prepare work drawings...
•Preparation of material submittals for consultant approval, carry out technical assessment for material and equipments being procured for the project.
•Preparation of method statements for consultant approval, carry out technical assessment for being procured for the project.
•Maintaining quality assurance and control Establish & monitor administrative procedures for the project.
•Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, ensure that regulation are adhered.
•Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
•Coordinating the Mechanical and Plumbing works on site with the activities of inspection agencies through installation, testing, commissioning, handover and acceptance phases.
•Coordinating with clients to get complete details for the project.
•Pre commissioning and commissioning of all A/C equipment including air & water balancing.
•Preparation of Daily reports of various HVAC and Mechanical Component.
•Planned and preventive and breakdown maintenance of Chillers, AHU’S, FCU’S Ducts, Chilled water pumps, package units, split units, Windows AC’S...
Involved in Tendering & Estimation Department:
•Receiving tender documents from Commercial manager.
•Preliminary Engineering design, if required.
•Attend Pre- tender meeting/ site visits, if required.
•Study tender specification and drawing and request clarifications from the client/ consultant if discrepancies are found.
•Sending enquires to suppliers/manufactures and specialist sub-contractors for various equipment, material and systems.
•Technical and commercial evaluation of quotations received from supplier/manufactures and specialist sub-contractors.
•preparing comparison statement of quotation received.
•Estimating of material cost, labor hours, sub contract works, plant & Machinery.
•Review tender with Commercial manager.
•Preparation of final BOQ for submission to client/consultant/main contractors.
•Assist Commercial Manager to prepare contract files if job is awarded.

Chillers with semi hermetic compressors of 120TR capacity (3 x40 TR)
Carrier make 5H40 compressor and consisting of 71 numbers FCUs, 3 AHUs. In this project, I was involved in cooling load calculations & selection of FCU, AHU, Pumps, Piping design, selection of chiller with pump head calculations and guiding for preparation of drawings.

Consists of packaged air cooled units, multi split units, ventilation system for toilets, stores, electric rooms, corridors etc.,
