Managing site operations for mega projects, SEC and private customers
• Making a forecast with the project managers, make a plan for the activities (resources, testing and mobilization)
• This planning, execution and monitoring includes for installation, testing, commissioning, site readiness, quality issues, work under pressure and overall site monitoring and progress report.
• Meeting customers regularly during civil works time in order to plan and prepare for the upcoming site activities.

• Regular meetings with the contractors and internal team for planning the site operations.
• Monitoring the site progress, attending the site concerns and quality issues.
• Feedback to tender department for lessons learnt at site for the project executed.
• Deputing team for completing the site works and snags.
• Analyzing the activities based on site survey.
• Overall reporting to Vice-President on the site progress and issues.

Duties and Responsibilities,
• Handling jobs of Power plant, SEC (Distribution) Medium Voltage Switchgear
• Complete coordination with all cross-functions within an organization and the frontline to the customer.
• Launching the project, meeting customer requirements, input to design department on the specifications of project.
• Site visits in order to feel the project environment and interface with other discipline.
MAJOR PROJECTS HANDLED: 1.Turn key project- CRISTAL (The National Titanium Dioxide) Project.
which involves all major equipment for execution of Electrical Substation
Self was the actor of reference for the whole project.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Project execution as per the specifications
• Regular meetings with customer for obtaining scope
• Feasibility study with the technical team and benefit/cost ratio
• Coordination with civil, mechanical for substation design.
• Freezing the scope and obtaining the approval of end-user
• Planning the material requirement at site from abroad
• Material management with respect to site requirements
• Periodical reviews for monitoring and control.
• Invoicing to customer as per the progress and milestones

• Reviewing the project contract and taking necessary actions

• Invoicing to customer as per contract (Cash-in) and payment releasing to vendors (Cash-out) so that the funds for project execution to be smooth.
2.Supply of MV switchgear to SEC.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Complete planning and scheduling
• Obtaining scope clarity and design approval
• Developing a proto-type prior to mass production
• Complete documentation in accordance with SEC standards.
3.Supply of Medium and low voltage switchgear for Faras PP - SEC-EOA.
4.Supply of Medium voltage switchgear to SEC-WOA
5.Supply of Medium and low voltage switchgear to Jeddah Cable Factory, Rabigh.
6.Supply of Medium and low voltage switchgear for WADI PP - SEC-COA.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Kick-off meeting with customer to bring clarity to project scope
• Coordination with internal multi functions for process of design submittal
• Meeting with end-user to obtain the approval
• Technical meetings and change orders approvals
• Site visit for extension of existing switchgear
• Attending progress review meetings and preparing reports highlighting status of critical activities problem areas, and constraints on achieving planned progress, schedule impacts, critical issues and action plans.
• Handling bill of material and monitoring switchgear assembly
• Schedule meeting with planners and designers to update the status, progress and forecast of project.
• Arranging FAT with end-user and equipment delivery to site.
• Site coordination and supervision during testing and commissioning.
Projects Handled: 1. Supply of Switchgear to BADR S/S, SEC-WOA
2. Retrofit and Extension projects of SEC-NW
3. Retrofit and Extensions PFC project of SEC-WOA.
Rich experience in project management and site management and capable to handle a team for deadline focus and timely completion of project.
Feedback to tender from ongoing projects in order to incorporate in future tenders.
From Sep2002 till April 2004: 18months experience in construction management.
Worked as an Electrical Design Engineer in Saudi Build Co., Jeddah.
