Was responsible for analysis of whole structure, design of columns, flat slabs, raft foundations as per BS5950, CP-3 and thermal analysis has been carried out for flat slab, as slab has got 40mx115m of area without expansion joint.
Project: Design of residential building (G+14) at al-khuwair, Muscat- Oman
I have carried out analysis and design of all columns, beams, slabs and pile foundations as per BS5950-2000, CP-3 and UBC-1997.
Project: Prestige Shantiniketan (G+18, In Steel) at Whitefield Main Road - Bangalore
Responsibility: This office building was build in concrete and had to be converted into steel after collapse of upper eight stories during casting of roof floor slab. Also the remaining floors had only free standing columns and my responsibility was to prepare ETABS model based on site condition & designing all structural elements with their connections to the existing columns as per Indian standards.
Project: Design of residential building (G+20, In Steel) at Bhandup- Mumbai
Responsibility: Design of main frames, secondary composite beams, bracings and their connections for gravity and lateral dynamic forces, as per IS-800-2007 and IS1893-2002.
Responsibility: Was responsible for designing of Equalization Tank, MBR Tank, Irrigation Tank, Potable Water Tank, Chlorination Tank, Electrical Substation, Storm Lift Station, Control Room, Air Blower Room, Washing Room, Chemical Dosing Room and Sludge Treatment Room.
Project: Design of 2 x 70 MW thermal power plant, Hospet- Karnataka
Responsibility: Was responsible for making wind load & seismic load calculations and preparing 2D & 3D staad modeling by incorporating all the forces, which was mentioned in client drawings. Was also responsible for - Designing of main frames, secondary composite/Non-Composite beams, rafters, columns, 100MT capacity crane girders, bracings, platforms and their connections as per Indian code of standards.
Project: LMD Hanger for Mumbai International Airport Limited, Mumbai
Responsibility: Was responsible for load calculation and designing of hanger of dimensions 85m wide, 79m length and 19m eaves height consisting of 10MT monorail crane and their connections as per Indian code of standards.
Oil and Gas Structures:
Project: Expansion of Pipe rack structure to support additional cracking capacity of the existing plant, Abu Dhabi
To create STAAD model as per existing built drawings and its loading drawings. New members and loads are applied in the STAAD as per the piping civil information. All new members are added as per piping information and have assigned pinned connection to existing structure. Some of existing members, which are failing due to additional loads, are either replaced with new beams or strengthened with the help of plate. Integrity check is done for - existing steel members, anchor bolts, plates, concrete members, piles and pile caps
Project: Design of sub & supporting structures for petroleum refineries, Dubai
Was responsible for designing substructures for oil tanks (raft, ring beam, etc) and underground oil storage tanks. Design of culverts and steel through bunkers as per BS5950, BS8007, BS8110
