Enforce safety standards in line with the companies’ policy and the governments’ regulations.
Conduct, follow up maintenance and repair operations of equipment and, either in workshops or work sites.
Capable of leading technicians’ team.
Make preventive and corrective maintenance on various pieces of heavy equipment
Make Diagnoses problems, disassembles units, repairs or replaces parts, and reassembles units in the following systems: engine (overhauling), power train, Hydraulic, Electrical, pneumatic, Exhaust and Emissions, Steering and Suspension System and Brakes
Follow-up with site civil engineer concerning the status of equipment including breakdown or any complaints from the site.
Make cost analysis and cost control on equipment to reach the most adequate usage of equipment.
Maintain inventory and order fuel, parts, tools, equipment, and supplies.
Issue daily and weekly work order maintenance back log status report.
Compile and issue monthly maintenance progress reports of planned man hours, actual man hours, material costs and performance percentage.
Executing equipment insurance agreements, equipment rental rates according to our special program
Maintain service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and motorized equipment, using fleet maintenance and management software.
Plan preventive maintenance schedules and to carry out daily, weekly, monthly, half yearly and Yearly inspection.
Ensure all equipment has the appropriate preventive maintenance at the proper intervals.
Monitor worker's adherence to health and safety rules.
Supervision of workers Mechanics to Keeps tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and in good working condition
Diagnostic trouble, testing, adjusting and calibrate diesel engine & transmission
Handling engines overhauling and Synchronizing (Disassembly and assembly all of components and engine), fuel timing and fuel setting of engines and mange scheduled Maintenance and general overhaul.
Reconditioning of any type of component, such as transmission, torque converter, differential, steering and brakes
Reconditioning of hydraulic Component, such as hyd. Pump, pilot control valves, final drives, hyd. Motor & hyd. cylinder
Coordinate and plan all the mechanical activities.
Prepare detailed reports for equipment with full description of the case and the insurance date permission.
Able to use diagnostic computerized devices to analyze problems.
Initiate periodic and random inspections in various stages of work, follow up the jobs during the shift and resolves any unforeseen problem.
Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic and control circuit.
Assembly and disassembly of mechanical equipment in compliance with safety requirements.
Make periodic, proactive and preventive maintenance of the equipment, Solving technical problems in collaboration with the technicians.
Determine the spare part required and prepare an order- Ensure any parts that need replacing are available in stock.
Checking up the spare parts when they arrive and ensure that they is compliance with the specifications required.
Selecting the suitable Mechanic to take the examination and repairing process for equipment
