• Determine and establish quality objectives.
• Responsible for quality budgets and agreed financial targets.
• The preparation of quality manual and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
• Prepare and implement the project quality plan, QA/QC procedures, ITPs and method statements.
• Evaluate Quality management system for effectiveness, efficiency and capability.
• Review of contract(s) to identify quality requirements and advise appropriate departments.
• Ensure that projects staffed with adequate number and types of QC personnel.
• Ensure that all staff are aware of company’s quality policy and quality objectives.
• Recording, filing and archiving of all QC records.
• Statistical interpretation of QC records and testing results.
• Coordinate and monitor all quality control testing.
• Ensure that all quality levels were achieved, maintained and fully documented.
• To ensure that all construction activities are undertaken as per approved drawings/ method Statements and ITPs. This includes appropriate surveillance to ensure that appropriate documents are present at the right locations.
• Ensure that all non-conformance reports, surveillance reports and stop work orders raised by quality control site personnel were fully actioned and closed out.
• Ensure all materials delivered to site inspected and conform to specified requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits and report the results to the auditees and the senior management.
• Ensure appropriate corrections, corrective and preventive actions are taken for the reported non-conformities.
• Review and report the effectiveness of implemented corrective and preventive actions.
• Report the performance of QMS and audit results to.
• Organize management review meetings at prescribed intervals, record the proceedings and distribute minutes to all attendees.
