Head

at Byblos Bank
Location : Lebanon
of the business department for the American University of Culture and Education, leading approximately 40 instructors in the Hadath and Badaro campus, organizing business courses, holding meetings and seminars to assemble the educational curriculum. Supervising on all material given to every instructor, and mentoring every instructor, also approving on petitions for students when needed. Screening instructors to be hired, and organizing various activities that benefit the university such as Job Fairs.
•Hadath Campus has 700 students in which the business department comprised of 85 percent of those students.
•I was in charge of all the petitions and problem solving for those students, in addition regularly had seminars, monthly meetings for the academic schedule, and organized the educational curriculum for the instructors to pick out the most suitable books and material to teach the students.
•Hadath business branch has approximately 40 instructors in which the bulk of them were full timers and I organized their schedules in synchronization with the time that suited them, but maximized student attendance and enrollment. Lebanon has over 45 universities in which the educational sectors’ competition is cut throat and I found a way to make AUCE students satisfied of the educational facilitations that I provided which was opening night shifts for students that weren’t capable of attending courses in the morning or afternoon because of a prior commitment of work
•45 percent of our students work in order to pay the tuitions of the university. Pushing night shift courses increased the enrollment in that campus in particular by 20 percent in the 3 years I’ve worked for the university.
•I also am in charge of organizing job fairs for the university in which, last year AUCE conducted the first job fair the university has had in 12 years and I organized the whole event with a budget less than 3000 USD, in which I ordered the presentation tents from China at a price of 20 dollars per tent (there were cheaper tents but I wanted to get something that’ll last and be used again and withstand wind and rain in case it was going to be a cloudy day) and got sponsors to help with the job fair fees, hence the 3000 dollars didn’t even come out of the university cash box, and I was able to gather 50 companies, local and international companies to partake in the event, and had the cooking division of the university feed our participating companies by a set menu, all as I said in a limited budget derived from the sponsors who were part of the job fair.
(A list of the participating companies is in hand if you’d like to view them)

I also teach all Business Management Courses and others such as :
Total Quality Management, Business Ethics, Leadership, HR, Intro to Marketing, Marketing principles and theory, Compensation and Benefit, Research Method Techniques, and MIS..
