-Following up the materials delivery schedule to project site.
-Preparation of erection priorities and method of statement for pre-assembly, Lifting and installation materials.
-Revising and studying of weld procedures according to ASME XI
-Weld inspection of pipes, tanks and chutes.
-Installation and checking the alignment, gaps, tolerances, installation sequence, level, center-line and commissioning of belt conveyor auto-sampler.
-Fabrication and installation of pipes and piping works at Ground calcium carbonate at Al-Qatranah.
-Calculating and selection of both equipments and accessories needed for power boiler Hydrotest (pumps, valves, gaskets, flanges ...etc)
-Re-tubing 110 ton/hour type-o power generation boiler for Arab Potash Company.
-Preparing the field inspection request to hand over the mechanical works to QC supervision.
-Quality controlling and making the required tests for works for official hand-over to the client.

JOSCO is Shell subsidiary that uses the new Insitu conversion technology to produce oil shale. During my 2 month internship I had the following achievements:
-Introduced to planning, scheduling and applying preventive maintenance programs for JOSCO's heavy machinery and facilities.
-Preparing risk assessment for JOSCO's workshop.
-Learned about the drilling programs for vertical and deviated wells.
-Introduced to drilling and operational problems and how to troubleshoot and perform the after action report for drilling rigs.
-studying the types and selection of bits, collars, stabilizers...etc.
-Introduced to the theoretical aspects of Wireline Logging data acquisition and applications.
-Summarized Shell's well control procedure.
-gave a seminar about Shell standards of hoisting and lifting and how to prepare lift plans.
-Introduced to H2S effects on health and environment and the usage of emergency life support apparatus and relevant PPE's.
-was involved as a member in the maintenance of a well thermocouple.
-visited JFE facility and took a tour in wells area.

Fabrication, welding and erection of piping systems at Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company to install a new Sulphur recovery unit.

Fabrication and welding of piping and storage tanks both carbon steel and stainless steel in MEC's factory
