 Responsible for visible leadership in HSE to drive Zero incident goal by complying strictly with HSE requirements.
 Report any observed unsafe Act/condition and near-miss observed while working in the field/construction site(s).
 Develops project scopes in collaboration with the owner, stakeholders, and other related discipline representatives following codes & standards, and organization procedure.
 Facilitates project Kick-off meeting (KOM) and other meetings to develop and review project scope, design criteria, project metrics, and discipline drawings & designs following code & standards (e.g. ASME BPVC, ASTM, ANSI, API, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)
 Establishes project management plan and leads the production of a project execution plan including the scope of work, deliverables list, master schedule, cost, risk, quality, HR, communication management plans monitoring the risk register regularly during the project life cycle, etc.
 Review of (invitation to bid), (technical requisition) & Technical Bid Analysis of the project and share it with the project team and accordingly incorporate their comments.
 Support the project team to prepare/review front-end engineering development (FEED) and Detail Engineering packages including (general arrangement, P&ID, ISO, stress analysis, pipe support, shop drawing, and IFC) together with the owner departments & stakeholders.
 Negotiates changes to project scope or specification with the owner. Follows Change Management & control procedure to identify and approve modifications to scope, cost, schedule, and quality, and Challenges scope creep and limits impact with a willingness to manage all the change following the management of change procedure (MOC), and company-related systems.
 Accountable for meeting project cost, schedule, scope requirements, and all other projects & programs constraints as well as owner satisfaction.
 Maintains budgets and schedule forecasts using earned value and closely monitors the negative variance to get the project back to track.
 Works with Contracts and Procurement to develop and implement a procurement strategy for each project
 Responsible for the project HSSE leadership, ensures a program of initiatives and auditing schedule is established and that HSSE and quality management issues are proactively addressed
 Guides and directs a multidiscipline project team, which may include external specialists and involve staff from multiple offices and sites
 Facilitates the setup of project management information systems/applications as applicable to suit various life phases of projects and manage information management project team
 Ensures delivery of specified equipment by facilitating shop inspections and factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
 Arrange early issue of key project documents including execution plans, budgets, manpower projection plans, front end and detailed project schedules, technical specifications, and quality plans
 Works with internal &external auditors to review and score projects against the specified criteria at multiple phases depending on the size/complexity of the project.
 The coordinates project team and Contractors to assure that field activities are completed safely, on time, within budget, and by the design requirements.
 Sets the expectations for construction contractors to adhere to design standards and HSE performance by regularly visiting the site alongside the project team.
 Assist with pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up plans and procedures provide technical support during start-up, supports training activities, and assure documentation and knowledge transfer.
 Creates or assembles all documents and drawings (red-markup and As-built) and upload on electronic documents & drawing management system for project closure
 Closes project mechanically and financial accounts.

 Procedure Review team of Management of change (OMS-09), Pre-startup SHE reviews PSSR (OMS-06) & Projects operating Philosophy (OMS-414) procedures for Mega Projects.
 Ensure department procedures and systems are maintained and controlled to comply with company requirements.
 Review CDPs (Concept design package) for DCR (design change request) related to capital projects and follow up for cost estimate of projects in order to obtain Gate-2 Approval.
 Support the project team to prepare/review FEED and Detail Engineering packages together with owner departments.
 To be the main focal point for all procurement & follow up with SABIC Procurement.
 To be the focal point and assist concerned departments in creating PR’s for the projects directly handled by SHARQ.
 Receiving DCRs from all plant departments through PD&C Sr. Manager for CDP Preparation.
 Review DCR package, get clarification on the ideas if required, and prepare the final CDP.
 Prepare CDP for justified ideas, get PD&C Sr. Manager approval / MOCC approval and send to E&PM (SABIC engineering & project management) for preparation of cost estimation.
 Review cost estimations and FEED, attend FEED finalization meeting to freeze the scope of work.
 Review of ITB (invitation to bid) / TR (technical requisition) & Technical Bid Analysis of the project.
 Attend kick-off meetings for projects.
 Review of all Detail engineering drawings & documents.
 Provide technical clarification during the execution of projects.
 Participate, Supervise and monitor installation, testing & commissioning.
 PSSR (pre-startup safety review), follow up for punch list closure.
 Review of As-built Drawings.
 Follow up and completion of necessary DCR / project closing activities.
 Develop project scopes of work, detailed capital cost estimates, project schedule, and bid specifications
 Implement projects including document preparation, drawing review and approval, equipment acquisition, construction monitoring, and cost management
 Detailed engineering packages including plant layout drawings, equipment and instrument specifications, PFD and P&ID's
 Managing contractors, developing installation scope specifications, and coordinating schedules.
 Interpretation of applicable specifications and industry codes (ASME BPVC, ASTM, ANSI, API, ASHREA, NFPA, etc.)
 Assist in developing cost estimates for additional work or contract modifications.
 Review drawings for consistency with work scope and adequately address input from disciplines.
 Prepare logic diagrams and bar charts for scheduling engineering activities.
 Evaluate manpower expenditures and implement corrective actions or adjustments when necessary.
 Update, inform and clarify project outcomes, deliverables, potential problems, and project needs.
 Prepare equipment specifications and datasheets.
 Recommend solutions regarding the development of mechanical systems.
 Review and comment on vendor-supplied equipment documents (submittals).
 Recommend solutions to problems regarding installation, start-up, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
 Maintain active participation in project teams, including participation in meetings and site visits.

 Participate in the engineering phase of a new process at Meleiha fields (two processing trains) with a new firefighting pump.

 Conduct bidding (service - materials) concerning operations equipment from the tender scope of work to commercial evaluation.
 Participate in Construct Meleiha Gas Plant (20 MMCFD).
