been conducted in accordance with UNSO STM and has been accredited by UNHQ DPO
ITS.
* The Overall aim of UNSOC is to develop and improve the Staff working skills of the individual
student and his overall knowledge and understanding of UN Peacekeeping Operations.

* Giving CIMIC Lectures for new arrivals to the mission (Staff Officers, Milobs, Police Advisors,
and Civilians).
* Coordinate the management of security incidents with various heads of UNAMID entities.
* Conduct risk assessments of contracted and prospective offices and residences. Follow up
on actions to be taken to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
* Work with various stakeholders to ensure that UNAMID, its mission and work in Jordan is
known, understood, and accepted. (Mandate of UNAMID).
* Contribute in developing and implementing guidelines for humanitarian access and
engagement with local authorities articulating standard UNAMID policy and guidance.
* Contribute to the enhancement of UNAMID image, reputation and acceptance within local
communities and amongst stakeholders by providing guidance on inclusive visibility
strategies.
* Work with appropriate UNAMID units, to ensure timely and appropriate follow-up to violations
of UNAMID Code of Conduct, in addition to operational breaches to humanitarian principles.
* In consultation with the Regional Security Capacity Building Coordinator, design and
implement Learning and Development programs for all staff based in El fasher HQ/Darfur.

* Constantly monitor available sources to collect, compile and report information including
incidents and trends pertinent to humanitarian access and security.
* Compile and submit the Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Security Report for CIMIC.

Teaching different courses for Cadets (English, Navy, Artillery, strategic issues, leadership,
training management, history, geography, critical thinking, and trainer courses).
* Review the curriculum and change to be fit with currant need objectives.
