Worked as an Anesthesia Technologist in the general Operating Room
• Worked in collaboration with anesthesiologists, Surgeons, other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures
• Using various electrical and mechanical devices
• Performing patients assessment
• Participate in the care and administration of medication in accordance with the hospital policy
• Preparing patients for anesthesia
• Administering and maintaining the anesthesia to ensure proper sedation and pain management
• Overseeing patient recovery from anesthesia and caring for the patient’s immediate post-operative needs
• Working closely with patients and their families to ensure proper care and comfort
• Responsible for the intermediate and special care to patients
• Perform various procedures including insertion of intravenous line.
• Attends to high risk deliveries requiring expertise in delivery room
• Assist Anesthesiologists with all procedures commonly carried out especially intubation, resuscitation, insertion of lines and drains, exchange transfusion, surfactant administration.
• Provide regular check E.T. and naso-gastric tubes.
• Insert urinary catheter and NGT as per doctor's order.
• Perform cardio pulmonary resuscitations in times of need.
• Make frequent rounds to assess condition of the patient in order to be able to alert the doctor to any unusual sign and symptoms.
• Administer medications and controlled drugs as per doctors order and double checked by nurse in charge.
• Provide intensive care for patients with medical/ surgical problems.
• Participate actively in intensive care resuscitation such as prepares emergency drugs and record events accurately.
• Calculation of anesthesia medication doses.
• Manage ventilated or non- ventilated patients during transfer on or off the unit.
• Working as an Anesthesia Technologist in the IVF Unit and in the Operating Room
• Assist the Anesthesiologist with all procedures commonly carried out especially intubation, resuscitation, surfactant administration.
• Working in collaboration with anesthesiologists, Surgeons, other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures
• Make frequent rounds to assess condition of the patient in order to be able to alert the doctor to any unusual sign and symptoms.

• Deal with concerns and queries of the parents and relatives of the patient related to patient health and wellbeing.
• Guide to participate in the education of parents regarding care at home.
• Facilitate to parents discharge papers.
• Ensure that all documentation completed in both accurate and legible.
