Responsible for all the SCM activities to enable one of the national companies
to be one of the business leaders in the Egyptian market. My main objective
and target is to use my vast experience to develop the company trough
promoting and executing long list of continues improvement initiatives to
reduce costs and increase profits and imply the best practices in SCM.
The current global crisis in 2022 is creating tough challenges and barriers, but
together with the top management and a group of loyal and honest staff we are

Also, coaching and mentoring the support division staff to develop their managerial skills. The area that i am serving provide all the supporting activities to Hassan Allam construction company (Mobilization, Construction Equipment, scaffolding, Warehousing, logistics and managing the backward integrated production units) .

There are many SMEs and Start-up companies that have great potential for future growth. The owners have the passion and willingness to grow but
unfortunately lacking the experience on how to do so. So, they ask for support to help in this regard.

Management of Supply chain for 3 cement plants with 5 cement production lines (10 MM TM/Year) that the company is responsible for its maintenance and operations in Egypt.
My target was to reconstruct the department and recover and maintain its role. Also, reevaluate the procurement backlog and fix and setup a realistic supply plan. Proudly, the Mission accomplished in 6 months instead of one year.

Joined the company as Procurement Warehouse Analyst, received accolades and multiple promotions to the current position of Procurement Director, through exceptional performance and dedicated work.

Highlights:
• Charged with the management of managing the procurement for all CEMEX operations in Egypt, secure all the company needed supplies (raw materials, fuels, spare parts, materials and services) in the most economic options with the best quality, and on-time.
• Headed a team of 23 direct employees and 140 indirect staff, with 6 - direct reporting managers; worked closely on areas that yield high ROI to drive bottom-line value, implementing appropriate procurement strategies.
• Reported directly to the CEMEX Egypt CEO and managed annual spend of 150 MM USD per year.
• Handled increased responsibilities of managing a 1000 acres wood forest plantation as source for obtaining alternative fuel as a part of the company environmental responsibility.

• Developing and leading a high performance team of procurement professional’s towards delivering business objectives; ensuring all supplies and services are procured in time, within prescribed quality and an optimized value for all CEMEX business units across Egypt.
• Profitably contributing towards company growth by arranging supplies and services for an annual production capacity of 6 million TN of cement and one million M3 of concrete.
• Demonstrating expertise in sourcing raw materials, traditional fuels, alternative fuels, spare parts, materials and other supplies - both locally and internationally.
• Negotiating the best terms for Cemex, performing CAPEX and Engineering negotiations for procuring new assets/equipment, projects, external services along with responsibilities of maintaining proper coordination with the central offices.
• Driving the implementation Cemex Procurement Framework in service category including manpower, technical services, mining, transportation, rent, lease, civil construction, mechanical and electrical construction, uniform, hotels, etc.
• Structuring the whole inventory cycle of the company with 2 to 3 months rotation index and maintaining spare parts inventory with less than 2 USD / TN of clinker installed capacity.
• Monitoring and measuring the performance of the team against key result areas outlined in the supply strategy and additionally serving as a main HSE leaders in the company.
• Protecting the Company’s commercial interests by identifying growth opportunities and expansion plans to build and install RDF plant and yield benefits of being the market leader in the use of the alternative fuels in Egypt.

Highlights
• Played a pivotal role in performing negotiations for first aggregate plant for the ready mix business as well as successfully managed to renewal of ready mix fleet contract encompassing 38 truck Mixers and 6 concrete pumps.
• Conducted negotiations for supply and installation of the first state of the art "bag filter" in Egypt replacing the "EP filter" designed to drive efficiency, effectiveness, improve profitability, enhance risk mitigation, and reduce expenses.

• Focused on negotiating the best possible deal and managing business projects from inception to completion for the following
- high efficiency separator for the cement mills, enabling production of the special types of cement;
- new ID Fans and ESP Fans for the 3 lines with its main drives;
- new compressed air systems;
- additional cement line No 4 in Egypt in coordination with central technology in Mexico;
-demolishing and rebuilding the main WHs with 8000 M2;
-Other projects including Cars, Trucks, Fixed Assets equipment, CSR schools, etc.
• Provided strategic inputs in rehabitation of Dammietta terminal for cement imports.
• Created complex business cases and performed quote evaluations, communicated rationale associated with financial and qualitative analysis to perform negotiation in favor of the company.
• Offered consultative skills in delivering recommendations, articulation of risks, and provisions for risk management during the negotiation stages.
• Effectively negotiate business terms with the ability to understand objectives, identify obstacles, mitigate risk, and develop and implement recommendations for alternative solutions.

• Developed, implemented and reviewed procurement strategies for all business units in Egypt; set targets and monitored productivity tables of all business units.
• Responsible for inventory management, annual purchasing forecast capability and utilization planning and analysis to streamline supply chain and improve the working capital of the company.
• Identified obsolete items as a part of inventory reduction project and divestment strategy. Successfully implemented Just-in-Time system to reduce costs on inventory.

• Provided strategic guidance on establishing a structured work procedures for handling a huge inventory stock consisting of 45, 000 items to be managed with inventory of 50 MM USD.
• Deployed the standardization project (Global virtual warehouse) and promoted the use of effective methodologies for optimization of warehouse in view of various operational criteria and stock accuracy level
• Transformed all Procurement Warehouse and closed 19 store rooms by shifting to warehouse systems and minimized headcount from 123 to be 19 employees with better qualifications and sufficient capabilities.
• Introduced the requisite technological systems and tools needed for business operations and successfully optimized inventory with 32 MM EGP.
• Efficiently supervised the operational activities of warehouse operations, storage area allocation, issue, control & reconciliation.
• Involved in the WH development project encompassing 36 Store rooms with more than 60, 000 Items with balance of 70 MM USD.
• Made significant efforts to finish the project with relevant results and transformed the old system to CEMEX standards.
