Employed as head of the Civil & Structural design department. I am handling the design of various wastewater treatment plants (reaching16000 m3/day), from the design concept stage, through detailed design stage, reaching to IFC, & shop drawings stages.
Orienting my team towards efficiency, and standard quality deliverables, we have completed concrete and steel structure designs conforming to project specifications, international standards and codes, and project budget sheet. Using BIM, and structured checklists my team & I coordinate well with the process, mechanical, and electrical design teams, where most technical complications a resolved before the construction stage.
My role includes structural analysis & design for water retaining structures like biological tanks, clarifiers, following international codes (BS8007, ACI350-06, 01). Using these designs, the construction team has executed successful watertight structures.
Using my VBA - API programing skills I have created tools to provide economical design in short periods.
In some projects, our role was to review the subcontractor’s design to assure that they follow company standards.
During the execution stage, my duties extend to site Inspections to monitor quality and compliance to design drawings. I have lead orientation meeting with civil/ structural execution engineers to emphasize on quality, and how it is attained following method statements & international code.
DNEC was operating as a specialized structural design consultant for several contractors working in one of the renowned mega projects in Riyadh, King Abdullah Financial District Project.
Operating in CMA-Tower, Being a 400m high rise tower erected with composite members. My chief responsibility was resolving Structural Non Conformance Reports issued by the supervision consultant. Using structural analysis & calculations based on non-destructive tests, I have obtained approval on reasonable cost repair works.
Operating in the Skywalks Project, I was involved in installation method statements preparation for steel bridges between towers. The M.S. included temporary structures design, coordination with towers designers, studying the influence of temporary structure loads on existing underground structures.

* Power Plant project, KSA / Habitation Compounds, Morocco Involved in all project design stages, from concept development to the shop drawing elaboration.
