Support the Quality Control Manager in managing the Quality Control Activities of the project
• Perform daily/weekly inspections or attend testing stages as per project requirement in the drawings and technical specifications for all construction on-going activities
• Lead a group of Quality Control Engineers/Inspectors and to be in charge and responsible for their inspections and activities
• Control, monitor and ensure that all project activities are performed within project tolerances and Quality, as well as that priorities and sequences defined for products/services meet Quality requirements
• Ensure that all documentation related with inspections and tests are performed on time in accordance with all requirements, the Quality Management System and project procedures, work instructions and policies
• Analyse, review and taking care of QC records, including certificates, calibration certificates, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instruction/observations, data and other output from the QC activities, ensuring traceability and that all records are keep up to date in accordance with all requirements;
• Analyse and review Test Results and Test Reports performed by suppliers/ subcontractors
• Managing the closure of NCR issued by Employer Representative and ensure the preventive and corrective action have been implemented in coordination with the QA/QC Manager
• Raise internal NCR’s against subcontractors and suppliers for non-compliant works, materials, or equipment in coordination with the QA/QC Manager
• Manage the Snag/Punch list document and each item closure
• Carry out Internal Audit as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP and as required.
• To be in charge in and to prepare QA/QC documents including Inspection Test Plan (ITP), inspection check list, handover plan or other QA/QC related documents.
• Interfacing with sub system for the preparation/review process of the related document, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and method of statement document for the construction work.
• Analysis of correspondence from the Employer and Subcontractors as well as to prepare correspondence letters to these parties.
• Conduct internal training for construction team to ensure that required specification and best practices are adopted at site.
• Reviewing all material submittals & drawings submittals in accordance with the quality system, consultant’s requirement, and specification before proceeding for submission.
• Reviewing the MEP method statements, ITPs and Checklists for the project as per specification and contract documents
• Coordination with project manager/construction manager in quality related matters.
• Ensure all testing instruments for the project is standardized, calibrated and maintain the log.
• Coordinate/Follow up with site team to close all Consultants’ NCR.
• Coordinate/Follow up with site team to close consultant snags / client snags / internal snags
• Coordinate/Follow up with site team to prepare and timely submission of handing over documents to Consultant / Client.
• Prepare/Submit the QA/QC Reports such as NCR summary, Inspection summary, Material/drawing logs summary & Method statements.
• Monitoring subcontractor’s activity and issuing NCR if required.• Coordinate/Follow up for internal quality audit and closing the NCRs in coordination with management representative.
Responsible for the installation of firefighting, chilled water, drainage system, cable containment in tunnel and station area for metro rail underground. Detailed and direct supervision of the construction work at site to achieve the specific standards.
Plans and coordinates the activities and resources at the construction site to ensure effective coordination and supervision of construction/modification project works.
Responsible for the mechanical activities related to utility services such as potable water and irrigation pumping stations and network, substations and ventilation rooms for utility tunnel to ensure that quality and standards are maintained. Following completion of the various forms, documenting the quality and progress of the various sections and areas of the construction work in accordance with the relevant supervision procedure.
Responsible for the mechanical activities including welding related to crude oil, water injection and disposal pipelines to ensure that the quality and standards are maintained. Following review of the inspection and test plan periodically to ensure that each stage of inspection are carried out by weld QC inspectors as per submitted RFI (Request for inspection) in order to proper documentation of inspected items and ITP (Inspection and test plan), signed off by customer and clients
Responsible for monitoring all regular QC activities in the shop related to fabrication and erection ensuring that the quality and standards are maintained. Following the preparation of daily fabrication, store release and receiving inspection reports
