1.The criteria for selecting the members of the Technical Working group.
2. Ability to analyze citizens opinions and come up with logical treatments , collect the citizens opinion in Hamdaniya on the basic services that must be taken into account in the selection of investment projects, and then analyzed and filtered, and the preparation of a preliminary draft list of projects to be included in the investment plan.
3. Experience in training and in the preparation of training courses for employees of government offices and civil society organizations social accountability in how to collect and analyze data and come up with recommendations as in the training course on how to conduct the process of collecting citizens opinion and analyzing.
4. Enhance cooperation in the work between (NGO s) the Technical Working Group and the Social Accountability Group and the Civil society organizations in al-Hamdaniya district.
5. Holding a training course on how to prepare the necessary investment project plan in order to include it in the investment plan to be presented at the Ninewa Investment Conference.

7. Organizing conferences supporting the private sector and encouraging small and medium enterprises.
8. Preparing the mayor’s speech and PowerPoint presentation, That was shown at the Ninewa Investment Forum.

As a GIZ is the German Organization for International Cooperation project, contracted advisor, I am responsible for encouraging and supporting investment (local and foreign/private sector) and paying great attention to small and medium Enterprises in Iraq by finding solutions to obstacles and problems that hinder investors and proposing resolutions to address them to ensure that business plans are implemented properly, my tasks were as follows:
• Professional advice to partners on reform procedures and processes, especially with political partners (Office of the Prime Minister - Economic Reform Unit, Adviser’s commission / Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Office)
• support the Ministry of Finance on the following topics:
- support the efforts of the Ministry of Finance and the Customs department to facilitate the customs procedures to the private sector by reducing the work time to complete the customs documents and reduce the costs.
- support the efforts of the Ministry of Finance to develop the performance of public and private banks in the issues of loans granted to small and medium enterprises.
- support the Efforts of the Ministry of Finance to re-activate the work of free zones as a good platform for economic development and an outlet for the entry of foreign companies to the country.
• support the government to a monitoring system is established for investment projects of national interest.
• Support the Ministry of Planning in the field of monitoring the investment projects, as well as preparing a draft law on (PPP) partnership between the public and private sectors, and supporting the efforts of the staff responsible for preparing the yearly national development plan, the five-year plan and strategic national development plan through the participation of the staff in training courses, workshops and capacity building.
•Supporting local entities to invest in local investment projects.
•Supporting and developing the capacity of the Integrity Commission, and strengthening the control measures to combat corruption.
• support the ministry of trade in reviewing the issues:
a - a complex mechanism for registration of domestic and foreign companies with the Registrar of Companies
b - The weakness of the import and export system and its failure to cope with global economic development
• Monitoring and evaluation of the work of government and private banks in supporting small, medium and large projects and finding the best ways to overcome the old complex ways of financing those projects
• Open a dialogue between the public and private sectors in order to bring the views of the two sides closer to change the country's economy
• Supporting private sector companies in accessing the latest international technologies and the experiences of other countries in their fields with the possibility of holding meetings with their counterparts from companies in other countries.
• Working with relevant parties to improve the business and investment climate in Iraq.
• Coordination, cooperation and exchange of information with international organizations working in Iraq, which has working on similar projects of our organization projects such as (Usaid, Cipe, W. B, Donors, .... etc.).
• coordination and holding frequent meetings and visits to the National Investment Commission and the local investment commissions in order to find new ways to encourage investment in Iraq, and work to encourage the relevant parties to invest to reduce the procedures that hinder the facilitation of these measures in terms of reducing time and reduce costs and review some legislation in the investment law, Thus reducing the state of the bureaucracy and the lack of cooperation among those relevant parties.
