Our team is responsible for operating, administering, and maintaining several UNIX and Windows servers which provide access to live International exchanges (Ericsson), GSM (Ericsson), NGN (Huawei and Ericsson), PSTN switches (NSN), LTE (Huawei). The servers administering these exchanges include:-
• Ericsson servers: OSS, XMATE, and MNOSS.
• Huawei servers: I-Manager M2000 LTE, Packet Switching, and Circuit Switching
• NSN server: Netmanager (PSTN)


Principal Functions (Major Area of Responsibility):
• Demonstrates expertise in the operation and maintenance standards and procedures of hardware and software elements of various IT-based DataCom systems
• Provides effective technical support to a diverse range of DataCom products including HP, SUN, UNIX OS, Oracle and Sybase database systems.
• Generates analysis, reviews with superiors the statistical data relating to the switching system performance.
• Ensures effective and reliable operation and maintenance interventions consistent with the prescribed procedures and guidelines in order to resolve issues/concerns/criticalities
• Liaises as required with manufactures, suppliers, contractors, Regions Engineering, ITSD in order to resolve issues/concerns
