I am working in Saudi Aramco (SA) for Loss Prevention Department Construction
Safety Unit. Our unit function is to support Project Management Team and their
chosen contractors in maintaining safety and quality in terms of following SA
General Instruction (GI) and Construction Safety Management (CSM).
* Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety
assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
* Verify all the applicable safety items in Construction Safety Index (CSI) tool
are properly assessed and hence field observations are noted.

* Compile on monthly basis all repeated items for each assessed prime
contractor and update each item with appropriate score.
* Develop trend analysis report for each contractor repeated major safety
observations.
* Send monthly reports for each prime contractor collected data using CSI field
monitoring tool and trend analysis to my supervisor.
* Stop immediately any unsafe work observed during site inspections and
report the findings.
* Produce clear and concise oral and written reports in English.
Responsible of implementing company’s QHS policy at the job.
* Conducting Safety talk to the workers prior to the start of the job and
providing precautionary measures and awareness to the possible hazards the
workers may encounter as the work progresses.
* Carry out periodic inspection to company’s safety equipment and facilities.
* Responsible of establishing QHS Recordkeeping for submittal and reference
purposes.
* Ensure that Scaffolding activity is carried-out in safe manner and per the
company and client established safe working procedure.
* Ensure that all scaffolding erected at site is compliant to the required safety
documentations and tagging prior to use.
