Project engineer
Plan, program, design, coordinate, and supervise construction of building project for clients according to their desires, needs, and financial resources.
Technical/Functional Responsibilities:
· Researche, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials.
· Plan and program layout of project(s); coordinate and integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
· Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with Detailed Design Documents.
· Prepare client project presentations studies, and reports.
· Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
· Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
- Study project feasibility and client requirements to give recommendations to client.
- Coordinate with client team and the design team, and set the design criteria.
- Review and modify the project proposal and contract documents.
- Assign tasks to the design team and track them.
- Put policies for the employees to enhance the quality of work.
- Review the architectural and engineering drawings and do the quality control.
- Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Resources Breakdown Structure (RBS), and Project scheduling.
- Involve in all the design stages including concept design, schematic design, design development, tender drawing process, and final submission.
- Evaluate the employees and give feedback for their personal and work development.
- Create short-term and long-term organization development plans.
.I worked as a designer, draft man, and project presenter for more than a year. On the other year, I worked as a project coordinator and who go to the project site, make sure that the buildings process is as scheduled and as required, review specifications, write reports, and do meetings with the clients.
I worked as a trainer who go with the engineers and see how they do their jobs and learn from them. Also, I helped the engineers in design, drafting, and paper work.
Master's of Science in Engineering Management, Honors. Within two years, the GPA is out of 4.
