As the manager of this club, I have successfully turned around a poorly performing facility, demonstrating my ability to handle challenging situations. Immediately we made a business plan to turn the facility into a high performing club. Some of the roles and responsibilities of managing this facility include;
●Set targets for budgets and P&L
●Increase the Financial growth of the facility by nearly 300%, member retention to over 90% and created a strong club culture
●I then carefully recruited the right fitness team, then trained them extensively on customer service, sales & programme design, so day in day out the above criteria could be 2 met.
●I developed and implemented a full facility renovation including designing a floor plan.
●Business development and marketing; creating partnerships and deals with local businesses
●Organising events and giveaways; including members & work events, Public speaking events, bootcamps, bushwalks and 8 week challenges.
●Social media; content creation for the facility.
●Contract negotiation with suppliers and service providers.
●Maintenance of fitness equipment
●Compliance with health and safety standards. This has included the covid lockdowns. Received 100% covid safety check score.
●Maintaining high customer service standards.

Fitness Supervisor at MTM

Druing my time at MTM I was initially hired as a Senior PT of their VIP club (Qgym Elite), then promoted to Fitness Supervisor. My first goal was to increase the fitness department portfolio, I immediately implemented a business plan with the following objectives;
●Increase uptake of personal training, group fitness training and swimming classes
●Coordinating and scheduling group fitness and swimming classes and events
●Increase member engagement with staf Delivering a world class services day in day out
●I then carefully recruited the right fitness team, then trained them extensively on customer service, sales & programme design, so day in day out the above criteria could be met.
●After initial training, ongoing support through performance appraisals & then using the appraisal, a development plan would be set for each staf member.
●The result was a 175% increase of PT uptake, a new highly profitable revenue stream and a dramatic improvement in member retention and conversion.
●Organised and executed team building events, including sports activities and dinners, to foster camaraderie and enhance team dynamics. Other key roles and Responsibilities include;
●Set budget targets for the team as well as individual KPI's.
●Overseeing staf recruitment, training and development
●Assisted with inventory management, salaries and budgeting, customer finances and cash flow.
●Attending business events and workshops.
●Provided one-on-one, two-on-one, and group training sessions tailored for individual goals including weight loss, hypertrophy, injury management and rehabilitation.
