Joined as Operations and Navigation Officer, and crafted an upward growth curve to merit multiple promotions to the current position of Admiral, based on service record strength and Naval Academy Commander through 34 years of dedicated services in Saudi Navy.

Highlights:
■ Merited the post of an Admiral - and attained such a position of power and trust of the highest ranking and most senior officer, through many years of loyal dedication to the service.
■ Chiefly in charge to ensure that the Navy is fit to fight and can deliver the military capability required to defend KSA and its interests.
■ Managed many facets to the position, oversaw a highly diverse set of responsibilities from the mundane, such as attending diplomatic functions, lecturing at Naval Academy, and inspecting the naval squad.

Key Responsibilities - Naval Officer:
■ Assuming the ultimate responsibility for leadership and management of the Navy operations, maintaining a watchful eye over the day-to-day running of operations.
■ Establishing plans, policies, and procedures necessary to the fulfillment of the navy’s mission, which are not in conflict with the directives of higher headquarters
■ Keeping informed of the accomplishments, problems, and degree of compliance with regulations and other directives through personal observations, inspections, reports, and staff meetings.
■ Commanding fleets and squadrons, or the ships and dockyard facilities in major ports and overseeing combat readiness, recruitment and training, among other things.
■ Developing and generating a balanced and integrated Royal Navy capability, and for maintaining the fighting effectiveness, efficiency and morale of the Service.
■ Ensuring safety of personnel and equipment through compliance with directives and policy guidance; ensure an effective safety awareness, education, and inspection program within the unit.
■ Additionally managing the delivery of the Naval Service’s current and future personnel, equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities - Naval Academy Commander:
■ Responsible for the military and professional development of the more than 700 officers.
■ Oversaw the day-to-day conduct and training of new cadets and get the next generation of leaders ready to enter the Navy force.
■ Prepared cadets morally, mentally and physically to be professional officers in the naval service.
■ Instilled the highest ideals of duty, honor and loyalty in order to graduate leaders who are dedicated to a career of naval service and have potential for future development in mind and character to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship and government.
■ Managed the academic program and the faculty, designed the training document and reviewed training programs and instructor performance.
■ Played a vital role in supporting the Navy mission, ensured availability of simulators and handled several training projects and assignments mandated by the higher headquarters.

Key Responsibilities- Naval Schools Commander:
■ Actively participated in improving training courses, training methods and practical training programs.
■ Performed a variety of services to meet organizational and program training needs; managed resources, personnel and equipment needed for current and future training requirements.
■ Prepared teaching plans and materials, identified objectives in addition to writing, revising, and reviewing the technical content of course materials in conformance with existing guidelines.
■ Combined educational methods with naval needs, and served as a commander for the designing and implementing strategic learning modules to optimize performance, quality and learning outcomes and ensure officers become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion.
■ Directed the preparing of course outlines and materials to present during training, and determined training strategy for new and existing tasks/knowledge skills that supported the Saudi Navy objectives.
■ Utilized the latest techniques/technologies including AV equipment and improve practical skills of the cadets.
■ Introduced candidates to the cultural and technological changes in the country and the world; prepared officers with up-to-date academic and professional training they need to be effective naval officers in their assignments after graduation.

Key responsibilities - Operation Commander
■ Planned the operations for the projected maneuvering forces' provisions, services, training, and administrative functions including the tactical and strategically naval operation.
■ Oversaw the administration of mobilization, equipping, training and staging of forces as well as establishing policies and training necessary to raise the skills of all fleet personals.
■ Managed/coordinated multiple tasks within a rapidly changing scenario and ensured readiness of all equipment by prioritizing tasks and focusing on described outcomes.

Key responsibilities - On Board Naval Ships and Operation/ Navigation Officer
■ Maintained a tactical picture of the surrounding seas by plotting and maintaining a visual representation of ships, submarines and aircraft in the area, including friendly, neutral, hostile and civilian contacts.
■ Operated common marine electronic navigation instruments including radar and satellite systems, plot own ship's position and movement on charts and make recommendations in navigation to the officer of the deck.
■ Made recommendations to command and control regarding tactical and combat procedures in addition to coordinating and assisting in plotting and ship maneuvers for emergency evolutions such as man overboard and other search and rescue activities.
