irregularities. These studies include full technical assessment of existing situation and development of practical
technical proposals to overcome the existing problem usually by installing capacitor banks and/or voltage
regulators. The study also includes identifying the best possible combination of solutions that are economically
feasible and deciding the best capacitor bank size and deciding the best possible location of the capacitor bank.
 Conducting Short Circuit Studies for 115kV/13.8kV & 69kV/13.8kV Grid-Stations and down stream up to the
L.V. network to guarantee that the fault levels do not exceeds the maximum allowable fault level in the design
criteria.
 Conducting Ampacity Studies for various conductor types to determine the maximum Amps loading of
cables/conductors relative to local environment conditions in coordination with local and overseas cable
manufacturers.

 Introduced and conducted distribution system reliability studies in coordination with EPRI-USA and other
overseas agencies to assess the overall reliability of the distribution system as well as to monitor the quality of
service provide to customers.
 Conducting power supply studies for bulk and industrial customers including technical single-line proposals for
the proposed supply, proposing the best possible feasible supply scheme, proposing system modifications if
required to accommodate the new load, and conducting motor starting studies for industrial customers to insure
no voltage dip problems will be experienced after the addition of the new load.
 Conducting plot plans electrification studies to insure the best possible expansion of the power distribution
network in coordination with System Planning Department and other related agencies.
