 Handle travel requests from cash and/or credit clients; make reservations and issue tickets according to the
Zahid Travel Service Standards ensuring that all requests are handled with the accuracy and
professionalism required from a Zahid Travel employee.
 Achieve monthly sales, revenue and GDS targets
 Adhere to all Zahid Travel policies and procedures and maintain the highest degree of professionalism at
all times.
 Handle client calls and serve walk-in clients, receive and transmit faxes/e-mails according to the set service
standards.
 Responsible for entering new client information, updating existing client information, and feeding ticket
information into TRAMS.
 Responsible for making reservations and informing clients of the time limit, following up on the assigned
Q’s, waitlisted bookings and enquiries received, offering Zahid Travel’s extended services to the client and
entering client preferences into the database.
 Source fares from various airlines and communicate the most suitable fare to clients.
 Responsible for issuing tickets (cash/credit). For cash clients, responsible for providing the cashier with the
BC Slip before the ticket is handed to the client; for credit clients, responsible for obtaining the travel order
from the client before issuing the ticket.
 Handle XO’s as assigned by the Supervisor/ Operations Manager
 Take active measures to enhance the professionalism, accuracy and overall efficiency of Zahid Travel.
 Assist team members (ticketing/reservation agents, supervisors and managers) as and when required.
