Assists Director of Security by supervising daily operation of the department in the absence of the Director. Provides necessary

Coordinates, manages, directs, and reports daily activities of the Security & Safety staff in the protection of hotel, visitors, staff, and property in the absence of the Director.
Exercises independent judgment in the implementation and enforcement of laws, regulations, and policies.
Manages the Property Rooms for lost and found items and oversees disposition of unclaimed items.
Assists the Director in the planning, coordinating, and directing security and safety programs to include loss prevention, parking/traffic control, patrolling of physical property, enforcement of statues and hotel regulations, inspection of facilities, and investigation of criminal acts.
Assists Director in the developing and implementation of security and safety procedures; ensures compliance with occupational safety and health standards, hotel policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.
Conducts follow-up investigations of reports of criminal activities and violations of safety standards
Assists director in the hotel Safety Management Program
Monitors, reviews and tabulates Performance Improvement activities for the Department
Assists with 24 hour call coverage for the department
