Since Aramex requires improved business process and quality information to enable better business decisions, improvements in control, productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and agility. Additionally, the need to automate back-office processes has become evident as the organization has grown significantly, Therefore, We started with an ERP business transformation program to ensure a smooth transition and on-going maintenance of the ERP Solution through implementation of “best practice” processes.

Due to my experience in the core ERP modules (Accounting, HR, CRM and procurement), I was selected to be part of the new ERP unit within the IT department to handle the selection project which is currently conducted and the implementation of the new ERP solution.

Corporate Senior IT Team Leader (MIS) at ARAMEX International(GSO)

 Leading one of the MIS teams within the IT department, conducting a user needs assessment and design for alternative MIS architectures to satisfy the needs of the business departments (Accounting, CRM and HR). The MISs focus on Decision Makers and their collaborative information needs. Migration plans to tightly couple the systems configurations were proposed and accepted with the business owner’s needs.

 Performed systems analysis and database design for the new in-house CRM system (Reach), Provide systems consulting services including project planning and management, systems analysis and design including requirements definition, user support activities, testing and documentation. Areas of expertise include data migration, reporting and implementation, The new system is implemented in all aramex stations in more than 40 countries, Travelling to various locations to engage with multiple stakeholders across the company to ensure all processes and requirements were accurately defined

 Functioned as a system analyst and implementer for the new HR applications (Appraisal Management System, recruitment System), responsible for supporting the HR team with the day to day activities monitoring and provide solutions for their business issues and needs.

 Work with key members of other functional departments (Sales, CRM and Finance) and members of the IT team to design and implement new business processes and to identify and resolve application issues

 Develop complex ad hoc SQL scripts to monitor various initiatives, analyze data, locate data infractions, and develop reports for tracking financial trends and transactions and data migration.

 Work with Financial Reporting team to develop an in-house consolidation solution, the system is reading the financial figures from accpac accounting with set of formulas to show the figures, apply the financial transactions and consolidate the entities (legal subsidiaries) results to report the final results of the mother company.

Responsible for all aspects of the project from business analysis to plan management, stakeholder engagement and risk management, this system is managing all customers and employees’ requests and cases including Service Desk system, GCS is listing a predefined workflow actions to solve the case based on its categorization.
