- Manage directly and provides engineering and technical support to all the MEP work groups at the site.
- Act as a technical adviser at the site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
- Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Prepare as-built drawings.
- Interpret construction drawings and study the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications before execution of any jobs.
- Oversee the electrical work plan and coordinate with other trades (civil, mechanical, etc.) for completion of the work and to avoid clashes.
- Ensure that all the works are done by the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national, or international standards.
- Estimate, prepare and assign the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works before execution.
- Supervise ensuring quality control, health, and safety matters on site.
- Submit site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports regularly or as required and deliver them to the Site Manager
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Ensure timely material delivery on-site to avoid interruption of the work.
- Hold a weekly meeting to discuss Site Engineers’ progress and forecasted department load.
- Provides technical support to marketing for bids and proposals.
- Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.
- Follow up on the testing and commissioning progress until the final acceptance.

-Participating in the selection of equipment and material and preparation of specifications for material, equipment, and construction work.
-Testing the electrical system once it is installed to ensure that the system is stable and safe.
