• Assist SFI/ PI in over all coordination of the projects
• Monitoring and Supervision of GNRU projects at thatta site( which includes MNH Birth registry, EmONC, Brain, House Hold Survey)
• Resolution of data issues between Maternal and child health registry and EmONC project
• Participate in teaching and training of the research team, to standardize the skills for collecting the information and implementing various strategies of the projects
• Develop pretest and supervise implementation of the questionnaires
• Prepare activity plans and schedules for the field/ clinic staff monitor research team and their activities in the field/clinic
• Assist in recruitment of the project staff
• Assist in data compilation, analysis’s and writing report
• Handling adhoc problems and maintaining communication
• Reporting protocol violation and adverse events
• Ensuring the confidentiality of the study
• Prepare progress report to be submitted to the donors / University
• Educating appropriate clinical personnel, assuring accurate entry and collection of data
• Facilitate undergraduate medical education at Aga Khan University, Karachi
• Facilitated a training session on solid waste management in one week workshop (28th July to 1st August 2008) of Environmental and Occupational Health Division, Community Health Sciences Department, Aga Khan University Pakistan
