- Responsible for the efficient operation of the Micro-flux™ system on the rig, working 12 hr shifts.
- Understand the function of the various components of the system on the manifold, valves, chokes, HPU,
sensors, and able to repair as necessary.
- Vigilant to any changes in the system by monitoring sensors and trends.
- React as required to maintain safe operations.
- Reports to the WSS. Any problems or questions should be immediately communicated to the WSS & MPD
Engineer.
- Keep records of events during the 12-hr shift (including screenshots when necessary) and fill in the Daily
Report accordingly.
- Operate manifold from the operator’s panel.
- Perform rig up and rig down.
- Visual inspection of stroke counter on rig pumps every shift. Compare stroke counters from Weatherford
with rig stroke counters.
- Working in well site units collecting, processing, logging and analysing geological samples.
- Using various laboratory techniques to evaluate detailed and complex data for signs of oil or gas.
- Provide the requested informations about Lithology nature and percentage.
- Monitoring computer recordings of drillings.
- Interpreting information and feeding it back to the drilling team to enhance safety and success.
- Drilling time log, ASSCII Time & depth, pressure log, hydrocarbon log, Hydraulic report.
- Coring service: package, fluorescence...
- Using various laboratory techniques to evaluate detailed and complex data for signs of oil or gas.
- Performs safe, neat, professional rig up and rig downs with concern for the efficiency of the next rig up.
- Follows and ensure the mandatory respect of HSE procedures and promotes all safety policies.
- Troubleshooting of any external or internal devices during the process.
- Ensuring Data quality delivery.
- Providing reports according to client request.
- Working in site collecting, processing, and analysing geological samples.
- Performs any other specialized tests or gathers any additional data as required by the customer.
