A premium Supplier of soft furnishing solution to Interior Designer, Turn-Key Service Providers and construction community in the GCC;
• Responsible for executing Sales and Marketing of the company.
• Responsible for the customer relations, sales and service with target accounts.
• Prospecting new accounts and evaluating their potential;
• Market research to uncover market trends, facts and customer’s preferences.
• Generating and obtaining feedback on product development based on market trends, customers' needs
• Involved in organizing seminars and representing in leading exhibitions/shows
• Marketing all the offered brands in person.
• Liaison and coordinating projects with colleagues in other departments in regards to channel desired result.
Major focus is on the implementation of projects. My key work areas are:
Market Intelligence:
oAnalysis of past & future trends based on trade audit reports (AC Nielsen).
oPrice margins and benchmarking reports.
oMonitoring in-market activities of key competition (promotions, displays, etc.)
oProduct availability and visibility checks.
oAdhoc reports as required by seniors.
Market Research:
oExecution of quantitative research based on sequential monadic methodology with 500 interviews to benchmark product organoleptic attributes vs. key competition - May-Jun 2010.
Brand Positioning:
oWorked on development of complete brand roadmap including brand architecture of Khaleej and Hayat.
Coordination:
oInternal: Mainly with sales.
oExternal: Agencies (adv/research/etc.)
Worked for a period of 1 month on Sony PS3’s in-market launch project:
Direct Marketing: Sony kiosk management in Mall of the Emirates.
oProduct display
oCustomer edutainment via games, POS, detailers, etc.
oRelationship management w/retailer.
Direct Sales:
oAchievement of sales targets (Console & Accessories)
oMaintaining Sales and Stock reports
Coordination:
oPreparation of daily, weekly performance reports.
oReporting to the Team Leader
