Developed and presented a financial model for detailed multi-dimensional analysis of overheads of the GCC providing the senior management with greater visibility and control over the overheads
Initiated the upload of financial budgets and forecasts in SAP COPA allowing regional and central finance team unprecedented detailed view for greater understanding of the budgets and their components
The objective of my role is to ensure timely and effective financial reporting to the senior management for decision making as well as assisting the Financial Controller in day to day running of Finance Department. I am responsible for:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
Preparation of periodic IFRS based consolidated financial statements
Preparation on quarterly financial reporting and analysis for parent company
Preparation of financial reports and analysis for senior management /Board
Continuous review of the accounting system and process for improvement
Reconciliations of complex intercompany and control accounts
- Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting
Preparation of cash flow forecasts involving debtors/supplier management
Preparation of forecasted financial statements in line with business plans
Supporting Management Accountants to prepare budgets and business plans
- Third party relationship building
Negotiating with financial institutions to obtain funded/unfunded financing
Dealing with Actuaries and Property Valuators for business purposes
Liaison with internal and external auditors to meet audit deadlines

Involvement in Oracle Financials implementation
Providing debtors, ratio analysis and vital financial data to Business Units
As a member of the Assurance teams in Lahore, Pakistan and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, I have been involved in assurance engagement for various organizations working as entry level auditor and progressing all the way to managing multiple teams of qualified accountants. I was responsible for:
