• Responsible for the sizing and design of severe service control valves in accordance with customer specifications, selection of appropriate hardware and configuration for particular application, sales support, production support, and customer support.
• Prepares and checks detailed valve drawings and releases valve design packages. Efficiently provides manufacturing support.
• Successful track record of meeting engineering package releases and customer deliverables 100% ontime.
• Interacts with project team members from other disciplines to coordinate project requirements and schedules as needed.
• Responsible for reviewing customer contracts, and compiling and writing equipment specifications
• Knowledge and understanding of ASME, ANSI, API, PED codes.
• Successfully reviews quality requirements and coordinate with quality management to meet customer requirements. Such as LPI, UT, RT etc
• Knowledge of Electrical certifications and ratings such as UL, FM, NEMA, IP, ATEX etc.
• Conduct and lead the Material Review Board meeting to inspect the manufactured parts for any discrepancy and disposition into system with instructions for further rework.
• Provides technical support to customers on severe service control valves solution.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and computer skills.
• Knowledge of applicable valves flanges, and piping design standards.
• Applications understanding of severe service control valves used in Oil and Gas and Fossil Power industry.
• Continuously involved with process improvement projects to enhance the efficiency for engineering.
• Actively participate in company’s engineering and quality training programs to enhance the technical knowledge base.
• Involved in engineering validation of all the product line for CCI’s new database program which will be used across all the CCI locations around the world.
