Job Description: To support warehousing operations by team building and motivating the Staff.
Key Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include, but were not limited to the following:
•Primarily responsible for planning, organizing and controlling over-all warehouse operations, manage stock control, receipt, storage and retrieval to ensure the timely delivery of goods in Middle East.
•Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
•-Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
•-Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
•-Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
•-Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
•-Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
•Manage and Maintain safety measures, work efficiency and space utilization in the yard and warehouses.
•Major Functions include but not limited to following:
•Ensure efficiency in warehouse functions and reduce operating cost.
•Minimize warehouse costs through effective management of storage cost, labor cost, etc.
•Plan daily distribution and ensure the receipt of acknowledgement copies of the dispatch.
•Managing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods to/from the warehouse.
•Maximizing space usage within the warehouse.
•Looking after the dispatch and transportation of goods into and out of the warehouse.
•Interact with HR for recruitment and pending housing, accommodation and payroll issues.
•Evaluate the performance of immediate line staff quarterly.
•Coordinate with the Transport department in the event of irregular vehicle arrivals and delegate further follow up to the Shift Supervisors.
