Was appointed as Head for the Quality Assurance Unit of the college from July 2012. As QA Unit Head I report to the college Dean and my main responsibility is to manage the college's quality systems and procedures including but not limited to:
- Managing QA Unit operations, task scheduling, prioritizing and allocation of resources.
- Devising QA unit plans for the initiation, development, implementation, review, and monitoring of quality assurance policies.
- Ensuring the successful completion of policy development initiatives and the inclusion of all concerned stakeholders.
- Providing training and guidance to policy implementation teams.
- Conducting quality assurance training for all employees.
- Coordinating review efforts of existing policies with all stakeholders
- Planning and executing audits to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Reporting on unit operations and quality assurance concerns, and devising plans for improvement to college management.
- Overseeing HRM activities like staff induction, performance appraisals, faculty development & training, staff grievance handling and exit interviews.
- Liaising with academic accreditation bodies and Ministry of Manpower to ensure compliance with academic standards.
As a Lecturer, handled various courses in the Human Resource section of the Business Studies department. Also took courses like Entrepreneurship, Total Quality Management, Introduction to Business, Principles of Management, Business Communication, Psychology at Work and Principles of Sales.
Was Coordinator-On the Job Training section of the Business Studies Dept. for a period of two years.
Was Chairman of OJT and Industry link committee and Member of Staff Support Services committee at the college level, and member of departments Course Curriculum Development and E - Library committees.
