Mine Operations
• Contribute towards project goals and objectives as may be required from time to time.
• Assist the Operational readiness manager and other area managers with implementation of change management initiatives and other business improvement projects.
• Ensure appropriate facilities, procedures and workforce competence to achieve legal compliance, incident prevention and the achievement of tasks in an environmentally sustainable manner.

• Review and monitor all safety, service level and financial performance indicators for the function and initiate corrective action where necessary

• Conducting daily and weekly and monthly planning by coordinating and communicating activities, modifying approaches where necessary, taking into account the different strategies proposed
• Coordinate daily drilling works to coordinate and prioritize planning objectives
• Conduct works related to water management, by ensuring sumps are designed and constructed.
• Contribute to the development of engineering policies and practices
• Confirm that pit designs are well executed in the field and improve wall control on different pit stages

Short Term Planner/Project Engineer (Expatriate)
Duties and responsibilities include;
• In charge of the expansion of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF);
• Conducting all Haul Road maintenance and Haul road construction Projects;
• Overseeing the dewatering project;
• Construction of the Siltation Ponds, for the purpose of filtering water pumped from the pit, before it is discharged into the water harvest;
• Planning with the mining engineer when there is a shortage of man-power on site;
• Planning on where to mine from, for each week depending on the crusher/milling needs of the week to come;
• Working hand in hand with the production crew and coming up with the best plan for the 24hours period so that delays are reduced and production is optimized.
• Acted as a Long term Planner and conducted Medium term plans for the Mine with use of Xpac.

Production Mine Foreman
Duties and responsibilities include;
• Conduct weekly planning with Mine planning Engineers, Geologist and contractors for the smooth running of the project week and ensure possible constraints to achieving targets are discussed and if possible eliminated;
• Conduct daily plans in reference to priority areas to be mined out and prioritised material grade/type needed to feed the crusher with;
• Manage and supervise the Crew in order to ensure that we work in the safest possible manner and as productive as we can be;
• Responsible for safe and efficient production of ore and waste to the approved Mining Plan;
• Ensure that each subordinate is adequately supported with equipment, personnel resources, appropriate engineering controls and information to manage safety, production and quality in the working area;
• Ensure that employees and contractors adhere to safety standards that exceed world industry standards and any applicable legislation and achieve Zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) Frequency Rate;
• Ensure that Drilling and Blasting operation is carried out in accordance to plan, procedure and that shared responsibilities with the Explosives Company are complied with;
• Ensure that personnel are deployed to the work areas adequately and work safely and efficiently;
• Work in conjunction with Maintenance Superintendent and ensure that Pit Dewatering Strategy, Planning and operation are carried out effectively so that interference of water to Drilling, Tyre Life and other operations are minimized;
• In charge of projects from the mining section, by working hand in hand with contractors.

Production Mine Foreman/Engineer
Duties and responsibilities include;
• Bush clearing and Piling up of Top-Soil;
• Dump management and ensuring that sequential dumping is followed for we trained Dump truck and other machine Operators;
• Conducting Production weekly plans and report writing;
• Supervising and ensuring that mining/Operations are done according to the plan;
• Ramp and Haul Road constructions maintaining the optimum gradient of 10%;

Graduate Mining Engineer/Supervisor
Duties and responsibilities include;
Supervised Mine Operations from Survey, Drill and Blast until the Ore/Waste got the Crusher or Waste Dump respectively.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Conducting investigations of mineral deposits and undertaking evaluation in collaborations with geologist and economist to determine whether the mineral deposit can be mined profitably or not;
• Conducting periodic Geotechnical and Pit wall inspections and safety risk assessments;
• Conducting Site/min/Open pit investigation in order to improve production;
• Preparing plans and constructing of pit and haulage roads for open -cut operations;
