Roles and Responsibilities
• Maintain the Material Master and Vendor Master in SAP MM
• Maintaining Material Master for material types like HIBE, CSDT, Repairable, Spare Items, GE Items, Rockwell Items etc.
• Receive the MMAF request from the User & reviewing it
• Creation of Materials by using MM01.
• Changing the Material by using MM02.
• Deletion of Material by using MM06.
• Changing the Material Type by using MMAM.
• Searching Duplicates & Materials by using MM03.
• Preparing Mass SAP uploading format for the bulk request.
• Identified error easily and error recoveries for incorrect performance of some Material creation and amendments
• Avoiding duplication
• Handling Data classification, Data Cleansing, Data Enrichment work
• Populating missing data and reassigning correct class to item
• Standardizing the entries, adding the necessary values under each characteristic and restricting unnecessary values under each characteristic
• Submitting the file in time to MRP Team to Release PR once the item is created or levels amended.
• Identifying & Eliminating the duplicated items from the existing items in warehouse
• Merging duplicated item
• Monitoring the transfer posting & replacing the labels for the duplicated items.
• Regular meeting & scheduled to keep User information on the recent Changes & any Issues concerning
• User Interaction through Mail & directly in plant

Data Collection Activity

• Collecting the data & taking photo for the existing items in the Warehouse
• Updating the collected data in the existing Material Master
• Attaching the Photo in the SAP DMS for the respective Material Master


Technical Evaluation

• Technical evaluation done for the Warehouse Cataloging Project
• Meeting with vendor (Related to Cataloging Project)

Project 1 : Material Master Maintenance of SAP
Client : Oryx GTL, Qatar (Onshore)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Identifying the Material Physically in Store.
• Comparing the Physical Item with the SAP Source description for the respective SAP Stock code.
• Fixing Noun & Modifiers for that Material.
• Collecting data for the Material
Ie. Make, Part Number, Model & other related specification by referring the Drawings, Data
sheet & In Item itself.
• Fixing the Item value to the related Attributes.
• Identifying Duplicate.
• Imaging the Item.
• Preparing Mass SAP uploading format.
• If there any clarification consulting with the Materials Integrity Controller & Other Warehouse person.
• Submitting the Completed Material Master to the Materials Integrity Controller.


Project 2 : Risk Based Inspection (RBI Piping) For QAFCO - 5 Expansion - Saipem
Client : Qatar Fertiliser Company (S.A.Q.), Qatar

Roles and Responsibilities

• Doing the Risk Based Inspection (RBI Piping) for the feature Maintenance in pipe line
• PFD & P&ID Collection
• Data Collection
Ie. Piping Design Data like Fluid, Design Pressure, Operating Temperature & Material.
• Collecting the Line List for the each Packages for Identifying the Circuits
• Identifying the RBI Circuits in PFD
• Transferring the same into P&IDs
• Preparing the RBI Master Data
• Consequence analysis and rating
• Submitting the file in time to Client
• Based on the analysis and rating the client will start the Inspection Activities

Project : Online Materials Maintenance of SAP (MM)
Client : Shell Global Solutions International B.V (SGSI)


Roles and Responsibilities

• QA/QC member for Online Material data Maintenance for SAP MM
• Receive the user request from client organizations
• Maintain the Material Master and Vendor Master in SAP.
• Maintaining Material Master for material types like HIBE, CSDT etc.
• Creation of Materials by using MM01.
• Changing the Material by using MM02.
• Deletion of Material by using MM06.
• Changing the Material Type by using MMAM.
• Searching Duplicates & Materials by using MM03.

• We classify products by following international systems such as
MESC (Material and Equipment Standards and Code) &
UNSPSC (The United Nations Standard Products and Services Code)
• Populating missing data and reassigning correct class to item
• Standardizing the entries, adding the necessary values under each characteristic and restricting unnecessary values under each characteristic
• Authorized for Configuring the Connectivity for the users to access the SAP Production system
• Involved in Intensive end user Training to individual employee
• Prepare End user training documents

 Verifications of Raw materials received from stores.
 Ensure production as per plan.
 Allocating workman based on their area of skill.
 Providing suitable work Instructions/Drawings/Tools/Instruments.
 Maintaining production records.
 Preventing time - delay in production and ensuring the production as planned.
