Inbound
- Checking that conformance of shipments before receiving using the PO and WMS on a computer system.
- Receiving damaged items appropriately and transferring them to ICQA for their action.
- Labeling goods and printing of Back code where necessary Storage and Stoke Control using WMS.
- Signing the delivery form, once satisfied that the goods are complete.
- Replanning and allocating storage space to goods and Put-Away using WMS in PDA.
- Relocating and re-stacking goods to make space for a new delivery by stock-taking and stock transfer
using WMS in PDA.
Outbound
- Picking and packing of goods that have been ordered
- Keeping records of goods which have been picked
- Preparing dispatch notes and printing labels
- Moving and stacking goods ready for delivery, either by hand or using machinery.
ICQA
- Stocktaking/stock counts and Variance checking
- Bin audit to ensure that all Associate follows the process of one-piece flow appropriately.
- Moving missing and damaged items to from bins to Miscounted and Damaged Docks respectively.
- Ensured that items in the bins correspond with items in the ERP and also generate report every 2hrs.
- Ensuring that the BIN is healthy before leaving the bin but working at the required speed of 20bins/hr.
General responsibilities/Oversight functions
- Compliance with general HSE (ISO 45001, ISO 9001)
- Maintaining the warehouse in a tidy state and clearing away packing material and debris (ISO 14001)
- Assisting the Supervisor in managing team of 50 members in training, retraining and follow-up.
- Liaising with manufacturers, distributors, and customers for effective customer satisfaction
- Arranging carriage or actually delivering goods to the customer or outlet
- Quality Control of goods in/out and warehouse inventory/management.
- Implement visual merchandising strategies in order to increase customer interest
- Produce layout plans, and oversee the maintenance of shelves and inventory
- Organize warehouse storage areas with a view to optimizing space
- Accurately check and fill customer invoices to ensure conformance to documentation standards
- Verify merchandise received against receiving notes and report any discrepancies immediately
- Assist in stocking shelves with items and rotating stock first-in-first out bases
- Prepare shipment orders by pulling items from shelves, packing and labeling them appropriately
- Restocking shelves as customers buy and ensure that damaged and expired items are properly separated,
recorded and transferred to designated areas.
