• Arrange domestic and international travel for clients, including air, hotel, rail, insurance, ground transportation, tours, activates and other travel services.
• Provide consultative multi-country routings for best fares and preferred carrier usage.
• Interact with travelers, and travel arrangers by leading and listening conversations to provide the first level of support for customer service and resolve simple customer problems.
• Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
• Enter data into software and maintain client files.
• Network with online booking systems & tour operators.
• Maintaining a favorable working relationship with all other company employees and ensuring to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
• Welcoming passengers in a polite, friendly and helpful manner.
• Responsible for selling tickets, quoting fares, assigning seats and accepting payments.
• Taking payment from guests in the form of cash or credit cards.
• Answering telephone inquiries promptly & professionally & transferring calls to appropriate person to attend to specific concerns.
• Resolving and dealing with customer complaints.
• Knowledge of world geography and major carrier networks to facilitate quick itinerary planning.
• Proficient in MS Office applications i.e. word and excel. Strong verbal and written English.
• Ticketing Agent specialize the following:
1. Issue electronic tickets over the phone and email request.
2. Exchange of tickets in cases of voluntary and involuntary changes to the itinerary which includes reissue and re-validation of tickets.
3. Call back passengers in cases of problems encountered on their reservation/tickets and credit card.
4. Process refund.
