Review the contract documents in line with HSE Standards and Procedures and advising Project Manager & Resident Engineers.
Participating in Kick-off meetings and conducting the HEMP workshops.
Review and approve the Project HSE plans, Method Statements and ITP`s submitted by the Contractors and ensuring compliance with the Contract requirements.
Assess and Approve the Contactor Key HSE Personnel and to ensure adequate Contractor HSE Staff available on site and reporting to the Project Manager as required.
Monitor and Review the Contractors’ safety performance and advising on HSE improvements and reporting to the Project Manager.
Monitoring and coordinating with the Company HSE Officers.
Advising and Coordinating with Company Resident Engineers.
Conducting and Participating in Company HSE Audits, Weekly Joint Inspections and Routine inspections for Contractors.
Leading the Incident Investigations and reporting to the Company and Client Project Managers.
Facilitating and participating in Monthly/Weekly HSE Meetings with Client and Contractors.
Monitoring the Key HSE Performance Indicators and Reporting to the Client HSE Department.
Monitoring the Contractor compliance with HSE Trainings as per the Contract requirements.
Conducting internal HSE Trainings and briefings for Company staff.
Developing and establishing safety systems, procedures and standards.
Implementation of Project HSE Plan requirements and monitoring continuously.
Conducting HSE awareness trainings in line with international best practices and Company’s HSE Philosophy and policy.
Reporting to the Project Manager on Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
Carry out Safety inspections and Audits to check the compliance with HSE system and reporting to the Project Manager, if any deficiency.
To manage monitor and improve health and safety standards in the workplaces
Conducting safety Induction course at all levels and nominating the Company staff for various HSE trainings.
Ensure proper storage of combustible material in accordance with HSEMS. .
Conducting and participating in Weekly/Monthly HSE meetings and quarterly corporate HSE meetings.
Conducting Emergency Mock drills, Fire drills, rescue drills as per Project HSE plan.
Coordinating with Client and Consultant HSE Executives and assisting them as required.
Experience in monitoring the Online IVMS SYSTEM in all Project vehicles
Daily updating the Training Matrix and booking the new courses and Renewal/ Reassessments.
Auditing the Safe Journey Management System and Sub contractors HSE systems.
Preparing the Incident review presentations & Close outs.
Able to communicate with multicultural work force i.e., Arabic, English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
Administering the entire gamut of safety operations in the organization.
Coordinating ES&H activities with the consultants & clients
Providing third party certification for lifting equipment's and monitoring.
Undertaking all activities for providing a safe working atmosphere on site.
Checking & reporting about various Hazards in site and initiating necessary action.
Partaken in visiting work areas, conducting inspections and audits as defined in the plan.
Issuing work permits for keeping a check on staff.
Providing welfare facilities in site in co-ordination with site management.
Monitoring the effectiveness of Fire Extinguishers by conducting periodical inspections.
Conducting tool box meetings, internal audits and forwarding report to HSE MANAGER.
Developing emergency procedures and co-ordinate emergency teams.
Conducting emergency drills/training programs on applicable scenarios.
Conducting safety Tool Box meetings and orientation of all employees.
HSE Inspections on site and advising on improvements.
Participating in HSE gate meetings.
Observing the Road diversions and detours in compliance with Client standards.
