Project: Automation Upgrade for NGL Storage and Loading Facilities, Mesaieed
Client : Qatar Petroleum
The project objective is to upgrade the existing obsolete control and safeguarding
automation systems of FACILITY, Includes automation upgrade and associated
works for NGL Tank farm, loading Pumps and NGL Jetty Area and replace existing
field instruments, automated valves, F&G detectors and devices that are obsolete in
all Butane, Gasoline and Naphtha tank farms with latest technology based smart
devices.
Project: EPIC for Dukhan Production Facilities Upgrade (DPFU) Phase 1A -
Package 1
Client : Qatar Petroleum
The Project objective is to implement Modifications/ Scope pertaining to Dukhan
Production
Facilities Upgrade (Phase 1A), Package1 which comprises of the following works:
Replacement of the Existing Hydrocyclones in KM, FM, FN and FS with new
Hydrocyclones having more efficient liner and installation of new Hydrocyclones in
KN and KS.
Installation of new Produced Water secondary Treatment System (PWST) at each of
the seven degassing stations KN, KM, KS, FN, FM, FS, and JM to meet specified
water quality requirements along with a centralized drying bed facility located near
FS.
Installation of New Hot Oil Dump Coolers at KM, KN, FM and JM.
Installation of new Flash K.O. Drum, associated pumps and facilities at each of the
seven degassing stations KN, KS, KM, FN, FM, FS, and JM, for mitigation of
existing burn pits.
DCS/ESD/F&G common systems modification works including configuration of
Flow totalizer functions at each of 29 gas lift manifold stations.
Project: EPIC for Automation Upgrade at PWI, Clusters & FNLGLS Stations in
Dukhan
Client: Qatar Petroleum

PWI Stations
The existing Allen Bradley PLCs shall be demolished and a new HART pass through
The existing F&G detectors shall be replaced with new F&G detectors. New flame
detectors shall be installed at process area. Building Fire and Gas detectors shall be
addressable type whereas F&G detectors at process area shall be hardwired and shall
be interfaced to new FGP.
New BN System 1 Workstation shall be provided. It shall communicate with
centralized System-1 servers located at FNLGCS, which shall be further linked to the
Dukhan wide System-1 seamlessly.
The existing IAC (Instrument Air Compressor) PLC’s at PWI-1, PWI-4, PWI-6, PWI-
7, PWI-8 and PWI-9 stations shall be replaced with new PLC based Local Control
Panel (LCP). The IAC PLC shall communicate with respective station PCS through
Modbus TCP/IP for status and monitoring and through hardwired for critical alarm &
stop/trip function. This shall be further interfaced with RDGS DCS, MDGS DCS,
FNLGCS and DIC for monitoring.
FNLGCS
Existing Honeywell ‘EPKS SCADA’ system shall be replaced by new DCS.
Existing Honeywell FSC ESD System and marshalling cabinets shall be replaced with
a new SIL-3 TUV certified ESD system, seamlessly interfaced with the new DCS.
Existing Honeywell FSC F&G System and marshalling cabinets shall be replaced
with a new SIL-3 TUV certified F&G system and its corresponding marshalling
cabinet which shall be seamlessly interfaced with the new DCS.
New EWS (engineering workstation) for DCS and EWS for combined F&G and ESD
system shall be provided. The existing Package unit PLCs for Bath Heater, IAC,
Nitrogen (N2) Package hardware relay panels in the field and Flare PLC in the
Control building LER shall be demolished.
All the other systems such as GE Turbine controls, BN System, DIC servers shall be
interfaced either serially or through OPC with the new DCS. Existing 29 number Gas
Lift Manifold data shall be interfaced with the new DCS for providing manifold
information
Project: EPIC for CNG Stations at RLIC & MIC
Client: Qatar Petroleum
The project objective is to build two (2) new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
refueling stations, one located at Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) and other one at
Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC) based on fast-fill dispensing concept sufficient to
simultaneously fill 5buses. Gas to RLIC CNG station will be supplied by new
underground 8” pipeline from QP Station A4, and gas to Mesaieed Industrial City
(MIC) CNG station will be supplied by new 8” pipeline (Sabkha Area) from QP
Station S. At Stations A4 and S are planned to be installed Pressure Reduction Skids,
ESD Valves, Odorization Packages, Custody Metering Skid, and Gas Filters.
Project: EPIC for Dukhan Produced Water Transfer Pumps

The objective of this project is to implement recommendations under Dukhan
Production Facilities upgrade (Phase1A) as related to augmentation of existing
Produced Water transfer pump systems at various degassing stations and PWI stations
such that capacity of produced water transfer pumps can meet increased Produced
water production demand in the future.
As a part of the project, additional pumps (1 in KS, 2 in FN, 1 in FM, 1 in FS and 1 in
JM) are being installed at the selected degassing stations. Pumps shall be of similar
head / flow to existing pumps. The additional pumps shall be installed by extending
the existing PW pump suction/discharge manifold piping, and other facilities as
required including replacing/recalibrating/modification of Flowmeters, Flow Orifice
plates, replacement /re-trimming of Existing Control valves, adding new surge relief
valve at JM. Also, all existing and new/modified Instrumentation signals residing at
DCS associated with Produced Water system shall be transferred & Configured in
DIC as part of this Project during the EPIC.
Project: EPIC for Gas Supply to Facility D at Al Wakrah (Phase-2)
Client: Qatar Petroleum
Responsible for detailed engineering for EPIC for Gas Supply to Facility D at Al
Wakrah (Phase-2) - The scope involves detail engineering for routing the 36” Sweet
fuel Gas Pipe line from station T1 to Station W5, associated pipe line tie in Valve
station T4, Station T1 & Station W5 and necessary Instrument and Electrical building
and systems in Station T1 and W5. Coordinated with engineering disciplines, EPC
Contractors and QP for the workflow of Electrical discipline for interface check,
expediting Engineering Progress, Monitoring and completion. Being involved in
Design review meeting, HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID MEETING

Project: EPIC for Produced Water Treatment & Injection PHASE-2
Client : Qatar Petroleum, Qatar
The purpose of this project is to collect the produced water from various degassing
stations in Dukhan Fields and transfer it to PWI pumping stations for water injection.
The multidiscipline project consists of site survey, topographical survey, geotechnical
investigation, underground service survey, design and detailed engineering,
procurement of materials, demolition of existing piping and associated works, site
preparation and earthworks, construction of culverts, duct banks, equipment
foundations, pump sheds, substation buildings, installation of internally HDPE lined
12” & 10” pipelines (24 km), FBE coated station piping, pressure control valves
(PCV), shutdown valves, ESD valve partial stroke testing system, transfer pumps (12
Nos), instrument air lines, DCS / ESD / F&G system, F&G detection and protection,
field instruments, telecom network system, power management system (PMS),
substation control system (SCS), installation of new substations, DC & AC UPSs,
building systems, area lighting, earthing system, Cathodic protection system, surface
preparation and painting of piping & pipelines, testing, pre-commissioning &
commissioning.
Project: EPIC of Sweet Fuel Gas Supply to Dukhan Consumers
Client : Qatar Petroleum, Qatar
This EPIC Project is for the supply of Sweet Fuel Gas to QP and other consumers at
Dukhan, and to provide adequate gas supplies to cater for the projected demand up to
year 2016. The project consists of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and
Commissioning of Sweet Fuel Gas supply system pipelines and associated facilities.
The construction activities including but not limited to the construction of pipelines
sizes 36”, 18”, 12”, 6” & 4”. All distribution lines are terminated from the 18” main
line running 30 KM from Station N to KMDHS which consists of 42 KM Pipeline,
Cable Trenching, Road Works, 62 Culverts, 83 Track Crossing, Pig Launchers &
