As a data science subject matter expert I provided advisory services, helped create commercial collateral, and participated in different
data and technology delivery projects for several high profile clients. Led data science product teams delivering data solutions used for improving company operational and tactical processes and results. Built and led data product teams.

Led a team of data scientists, working with agency senior stakeholders, to monitor and optimise campaigns, define marketing effectiveness measurement, overseeing the execution and reviewing the performance measurement plan. Delivered insights that facilitated improving marketing budget impact and informed channel and performance vs brand investment.

Participated in pre-sales events and meetings to allow the internal and external stakeholders interfacing the different use cases of data science with the
available data, setting the direction for the development of proofs of concept in a varied set of sectors (i.e. retail, banking, utilities, public sector). Worked in multidisciplinary teams made up of subject matter experts, data scientists, and software engineers (DevOps, data engineers, software architects).

Collaborated in predictive modelling projects as part of an internal consulting team of data scientists, data engineers, and subject matter experts across the UK, United States, and India, with use cases for maritime, chemicals, oil & gas, and economics. I worked with geolocation data predicting vessel movement, produced scenario-adjusted risk curves for oil infrastructure projects, built time series prediction models for commodities and macroeconomic concepts. I developed R software for internal use to ease data wrangling and machine learning applications. Led a project task force for improving data science project management based on Agile software development

Team Leader for the Economics degree, managing a team of 6 permanent lecturers, 7 assistant lecturers, and liaising with up to 200 students for academic mentoring and mediation. Key responsibilities: KPI management; reported to Senior Management and University of Plymouth; designed and delivered statistics, econometrics, programming, and economic theory modules.

Produced professional and technical reports on data-driven research using a varied set of techniques like input-output modeling for economic impact analysis, data envelopment analysis for productivity bench marking, as well as econometric methods. Coordinated market research including statistical
sampling and design of questionnaire. Delivered corporate training. Worked primarily in creative industries and tourism sectors, with some projects in automotive, and the third sector. Started in the UK, and then I was seconded to Brazil.
