Product Services (Previously Product Stewardship) is a function which works hand in hand with operations, supply chain, ware house and Marketing.
During this period I worked on business support related initiatives like, setting up of Product Stewardship function in MEIA, Assortment optimizations for Jotun companies in MEIA Region, Spain & Turkey and defining and implementing new TDS data base.
Extensively worked on MIS reports and established various business reports and Dashboards. Developed tools to measure and improve profitability of both organization and dealer network. Maintaining the master information of products. Establishing Power BI reports in various functions.
During this period I worked on trouble shooting of paints production process and planning, enhancing equipment effectiveness, improving efficiency of manpower and machine, training people. Handling a turnover of 6 Million Liters/ month.
Over 13 years of experience in Production Operations, ware house and supply chains in Resin and Paint plants. Experienced in implementing cost saving measures to achieve substantial reduction in terms of man-days, production cost and raw materials in Resins and Paint manufacturing. Keen understanding of quality management systems such as ISO, TPM, TQM, and 5S with experience imparting training on Safety/5S and CGMP.
During this period I played a vital role in manpower handling, batch processing, production planning and scheduling, polymer manufacturing, TPM, TQM, ISO, Safety, FMEA, Kaizens, OAE, Resin manufacturing, troubleshooting during polymer batch processing, resource planning, training to people on various production initiatives, production planning and scheduling, meeting targets, raw material consumptions, improvement projects, day to day production activities etc. I worked on improvement projects like reduction of (Sp. Power consumption, Sp. Fuel consumption, cycle time of various batches and reworks) etc
Currently pursuing MBA from S P Jain School of Global Management, with specialization in operations, expected completion is end 2016. Its an Executive MBA which includes various class room sessions, discussions, assignments, presentations and project. The project would be the most important one which is guided by the industry specialist (from the organization of work) and mentor fro the business school.
