My brief background is:
(a) An XLRI Jamshedpur alumni and with strong experience in IT, ITES, manufacturing, EPC and Engg industries.
(b) Worked in Europe for 4 years (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, France, Estonia, and India) as the Global Head of Human Resources for Winwind Group, a Finnish windpower MNC. This unique role helped me travel the world, get truly exposed to the working cultures globally, and handle international HR hands-on. I had over 18 HR people from various nationalities reporting to me at that time.
I was recently awarded amongst the "50 Most Talented Global HR Leaders in Asia", by the Global HRD Congress in Mumbai in Feb 2014, and am on the Advisory Panel for Global HRD Congress for 2015.
In short, I have worked across different industries, verticals and countries. I speak Punjabi and Hindi fluently in addition to my mother tongue. I therefore bring to the table, a strong combination of business and HR acumen, high energy levels, the best communication skills, experience, and a very strong desire to excel
