Recruiting for permanent and contract roles at all levels from officer to director within the Msheireb Properties team.
•Planning the manpower and recruitment schedule, with a close eye on requirements.
•Liaising with hiring managers and Directors to fully understand their needs and how it will affect the business. Agreeing timeframes with these key stakeholders and ensuring that the correct candidates are found.
•Speaking to all candidates as first point of contact with Msheireb Properties, checking that that they are right for the role, as well as a good fit for the MP team culture.
•Ensuring that candidates are fully committed to making a move to Qatar, making the process as easy for them as possible by providing all of the required information as well as a first-hand account on life here in the middle east.
•Taking control of the on boarding process, focusing on their required documents and ministry approvals.

Set up a previously un-existing HSEQ Recruitment desk to tap into the increasing focus that Qatar is putting on Safety in the run up to the world cup. I built the relationships with the clients and managed the candidates all the way through the recruitment process to ensure that they had the best possible experience.
•Arranged terms, signed up and recruited for all 3 Metro lines currently under construction in Qatar, Red, Green and Gold lines. I still hold strong relationships with the hiring managers at these lines.
•Built and maintained strong relationships with a number of international construction contractors up with REED after mapping the Qatar construction market.

•Recruiting for HSEQ roles within Oil & Gas
•Mapped the Qatar Market with regards to construction, rail and infrastructure as main focuses. I made in-roads into all of these sectors focusing on building relationships with both the line managers and HR and presenting myself as a great option for recruitment.

Recruiting for permanent roles at all levels from assistant to director within Health & Safety. Sectors include Construction, Rail, Civil, Engineering, infrastructure and utilities. I recruit for Health & Safety, Quality, Environment and Fire roles.
•Market mapping and business development to canvass new roles for my sector. Won new business with a number of high profile clients who were previously averse to using Hays, turning their opinion with great customer service and the perfect candidates for their roles.
•Meeting with both clients and candidates to ensure the correct match up for roles. Gaining exclusivity with clients and candidates to ensure the best possibility of filling.
•Full compliance checks on candidates ensuring eligibility to work.
•Part of the Social Engagement Team - Organising events and ensuring support from the region.
Design, creation and production of posters, brochures and catalogues, advertising and promoting DCD Rights products using Photoshop. Conversing with suppliers and printers to ensure that all materials are completed on time

•Brought on board 35 out of 50 required positions (the rest were in the budget for Q3 & Q4), plus replaced at least 10 candidates through attrition.
•Built relationships with all Directors and Managers involved in the hiring process. By doing this, the rate and speed of feedback was increased. A bi-weekly meeting was held with each stakeholder to ensure that their requirements were up to date and we had comprehensive feedback on the candidates reviewed. Went from no feedback on submitted candidates to detailed reasons for acceptance / rejection.

•Recruited for St George (Central) who previously refused to use Hays for any recruitment. Through my knowledge and market expertise, as well as the relationships I have built, I have now placed 4 of their resident Health & Safety Managers.
•Engineered, through great customer service, Hays being put on the PSL for various global businesses.
•Built a relationship with a growing Irish construction company, which saw them use Hays on a completely exclusive basis.
•Among many others, I have successfully recruited for - Skanska, Balfour Beatty, St George Central London, Dornan, several housing associations and local authorities, Bam, Ferrovial, Keir (BFK) JV and Buckingham Group.
•I have had workers on a lot of major projects, including several on the Shard, The Olympic park and the Olympic Legacy and Crossrail
