Carry-out concept definition and engineering studies, design, scopes and preparation of engineering documents as per approved standards / procedures.
Communicate and coordinates with MEP contractor for any comments on the material submission and comply as per project requirement and specifications.
Supervision and review of shop drawings, red line and as built drawings prepared by the assigned draftsman on the project and advise them on technical matters with regard to the system in scope.
Coordinate with project manager and MEP contractor on project schedules, plans, activities at site to ensure that the project gets completed on time, within budget and with the best quality and safety record.
Review materials for purchasing and ensure that the items were approved by the consultant and as per the project requirement and specifications.
Follow up materials purchase and track the schedule of delivery as per the approved timeline.
Supervise the overall activities in the field and plan site work & activities by ensuring the availability of all required items such as materials or labor
Daily review of site progress with technicians, team leaders, foreman, supervisor and engineer to ensure that all problems are tackled effectively and the work progress is as per schedule.
Prepares Daily Reports, Monthly reports, tools/equipment failure reports, Incident/Accident reports, indicating activities carried out, problems encountered and produces analysis reports of a technical nature indicating failures and recommendations to alleviate recurring problems.
Notify project management of timely identification of deviations from budget, project schedule, and work quality or safety.
Take responsibility and actions to deal with results of delays and unscheduled activities.
Attends site progress meetings, inspections and end user trainings.
Provide technical support and preventive maintenance for all ELV systems as per the scope of work within the approved warranty period.
Performs other roles and tasks as required.
Coordinates with ELV subcontractors for any kind of site related coordination issues and concern.
Prepares weekly progress report and submit it to project managers.
Review materials status and coordinate with procurement for ensuring the material availability and its tracking.
Daily review of site progress with Supervisors and Foremen to ensure that all problems are tackled effectively and the work progress is as per schedule.
Recommend upgrades or system improvements on maintained system as required.
Maintain certifications and knowledge of technology developments.
Designing, installation, testing and commissioning of ELV System.
Provides basic engineering support and detailed knowledge.
Prepare and design of shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Attends site progress meetings.
Meet and discuss with ELV suppliers about their quotations and offers.
Prepare comparison sheets of selected suppliers.
Performs other roles and tasks as required.
Manage all facets of the FTTH project - deliver on time, on budget, within quality and safety standards.
Effectively track, report and communicate FTTH project progress.
Provide early communication on potential due date, interval, and/or budget slips to the FTTH functional leadership.
Participate in project meetings and effectively support the overall project effort.
Support client meetings as necessary.
Accountable for monitoring the overall field performance, including pole digging, and pole erection, pole dressing cable lay-out, tensioning and cable fixing, installation of NAP and LCP

Led cross-functional teams of up to 30 people on site handling technicians and labor for the Extra Low Voltage System (Telephone, Data, CCTV, IPTV, SMATV, Access Control and PA system block wiring and installation in residential towers, hotels, schools, private companies, government institutions, Oil and Gas Firms (RasGas / QatarGas / Qatar Petroleum).
Ensure safety of people working on site and monitor the day-to-day activities of technicians and labors.
Design, implementation, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning for Extra Low Voltage System (Telephone, Data, CCTV, IPTV, SMATV, Access Control and PA system).
Prepare as built drawings for submittal and seek approval of the consultant.
LG-Nortel, LG-Ericsson and Ericsson PABX system installation, programming, maintenance and implementation.
Configure wireless routers and do necessary programming in case of malfunction.
Splice fiber optic cables including loose tube and ribbon optic cables, construct a proper splice case including but not limited to: grounding, bonding, isolation, slack, storage and sealing.
Install and maintain network systems for private lines and determine solutions for any issues preventing the service from operating normally.
Led teams for Installation of new fiber cables, high- or low-rise buildings, residential apartments, temporary site facilities or commercial property either through manholes, direct buried or poles.
Splicing, testing and commissioning of fiber optic cables using OTDR or Light Source power meter and copper cables using fluke test machine or JDSU Ethernet test machine.
Check E-Side and D-Side for copper cable faults and joint if necessary.
Attend FTTx (Premises, Cabinet, Node, and Distribution Point) and Copper fault on daily basis given by Ooredoo (QTEL) test board.
