Worked on the Performance, Load, Stress and Contention Testing of Corporate Billing and Customer Management (CBCM) System of Etisalat, UAE. Etisalat is one of the leading service providers in the Middle East Region.
CBCM (Corporate Billing and Customer Management System) is their attempt to combine all the existing modules and billing application into single system.
As a Senior Testing and QA Analyst, I was responsible for the following tasks:
1) Meet with client groups to determine performance requirements and Goals
2) Determine test strategies based on requirements and architecture.
3) Prepare the User Experience Work Load Models, transaction volumes etc.
4) Create and implement Performance Tests Suites using IBM Rational TestManager.
5) Perform Business Analysis to develop Datapools
6) Extensive advanced programming to develop Data correlated, data-driven (parameterized) IBM Rational Robot’s VU Scripts.
7) Write custom functions and programs to support the load testing efforts.
8) Base lining and benchmarking of all performance critical functions
9) Monitor resources to identify performance bottlenecks,
10) Analyze test results, report the findings to the client and provide recommendations for performance improvement as needed.
11) Perform regression performance tests on system upgrades.
12) Prepare the final detailed and executive summary test report.
13) install test agents on Solaris Servers to monitor the server resources
14) Perform QA knowledge transfer activities to client personnel.
15) Setup an automated test lab environment with 25 Test Agents to execute a load of 1000 VU’s and deployed IBM Rational Test Studio.

It was built on Epiphany’s Interaction Platform, integrated with a custom-built service portal through XML strings sent by E-mail. I played a significant role for the designing and development of Messaging Channel, Email Auto-Response and XML Transmaps for the Email Connector.
