• Project lead for IH monitoring program in Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).
• Conducting Qualitative Risk Assessment for updating Health Risk Register.
• Evaluate the adequacy of existing control measures in the workplace.
• Determines appropriate sampling strategies and techniques.
• Conducting Chemical exposure survey (Inorganic & Organic chemicals), Dust & Fumes, Asbestos, etc., in various sites of KNPC (during plant running & shutdown period).
• Conducting Heat Stress, Noise (Personal & Area), Illumination, Vibration, and Biological hazards (e.g. Fungi, mold & Bacteria Legionella) exposure assessments.
• Conducting Indoor Environment Quality (IEQ) Survey for KNPC sites & Head office buildings, KOC (All GCs in Burgan, Magwa) sites, and other industrial sectors.
• Laboratory Ventilation Study: conducting ventilation assessment for evaluating the performance and efficiency of the fume hood.
• Conducting office ergonomic assessments.
Preparing IH survey Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
Preparing IH survey reports with recommendations.
Preparing monthly HSE statistics reports for the project.
Preparing laboratory hygiene procedures for part of the HSE program.
Conducting Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health awareness training program for employees part of the HSE procedures.
Reviewing and evaluating various Safety Data sheets (SDS) as part of the chemical hazard management programs.
Updating of specifications for various PPEs.
Knowledge and experience about the PTW procedure in KOC and holding PTW cards.
Sampling equipment and media procurement for IH assessments.
Maintains, operates, and calibrates a variety of sampling equipment's like Sound level meter, Heat Stress meter, Illumination meter, Vibration meter, NORM monitoring meter, SKC Universal Pumps Charcoal tubes, filter cassettes, sampling for asbestos and passive sampler, etc.
Knowledge of various international standards, regulations & guidelines- (NIOSH, OSHA, ACGIH, KEPA, etc.)
Involved in various departmental major activities such as Occupational Health & Safety consultancy services to various industries, (i.e. Construction, Electronic, auto parts, automobile, tyre manufacturing, glass manufacturing, printing, Steel manufacturing, Paint manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, food and heavy vehicle manufacturing industries, etc.)
IH related academic programs (i.e. M.Sc (Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Master of Public Health, and AFIH) and various Research Projects (Air pollution and Climate change and Health)
Conducting and assisting in the Quantitative exposure assessment (Chemical. Physical, Biological hazards and exposure assessment) in various sectors in southern India.
Determined and selected correct sampling tools and techniques.
Assist preparing the report for all Industrial hygiene exposure assessment and IEQ Assessments. Responsible for all IH equipment maintenance and factory calibration. Responsible for the report submission and file management.
Sampling media purchase and equipment purchase for IH and IEQ exposure assessments.
Assist in identifying health and safety training and where appropriate, organize /develop training.
